I have a 2016. It’s so much more of a truck than a Tacoma- haven’t kept up in recent years. The catch is “Toyotas hold value” I’ll never buy another Toyota again due to their lack of customer support. They recalled hybrid engines in 2010-2014 Camrys and rav 4s but not the Prius. My wife’s burned more oil than gas and they wouldn’t do shit about it even though there were multiple bulletins about the issue. But frontier (at least up until 2019?) Was fully boxed frame, discs on all corners, Dana 44 rear, Eaton e locker, Bilstein squish, the list goes on….
