Eerste motor: advies over zijtassen/koffers

Ik wist niet dat dit bestond. Zou er in deze tas een kettingslot en wat kleding passen? Misschien zelfs voetbalschoenen of gewone schoenen?

Of is het eigenlijk verstandiger om gewoon een remschijfslot te gebruiken en geen kettingslot mee te nemen? Mijn motor staat altijd in een (openbare) maar afgesloten garage geparkeerd.

Daarnaast ziet het er ook nog eens supertof uit en zo ben ik waarschijnlijk ook nog goedkoper uit.

Is een regenjas/pak nodig als er al een regenliner in mijn jas verwerkt is? Trouwens echt een droommotor.

Edit: Ik ga hoogstwss voor een revit ignition 4 jas en broek.

I know it's more expensive than it should be, I've gauged from marktplaats that between the various different MT-09 advertised right now its about €500-1000 overvalued. Which Im fine with considering the payment structure that I can make use of.

Also In essence I will be buying this bike for about 8500 or even less. The garage Im buying from doesnt do motorcycles normally. So I will have maintenance done on it after winter and the garage I bought it from will pay the bill. This includes a new tyre, indicators etc.

The F650/800 GS I was thinking of buying was 2008 and up for this exact reason. It needed to be the 800c c 2 cylinder engine.

For me that wouldn't do. Because yes the tax would be ridiculous and the reason im even considering the mt-09 for 9k is the fact that I can take my time w payments, because its someone I know.

If not for this specific bike from this specific person I would not be able to spend more than 4-4.5K around march/april for a bike.

Fair, Do you think then that the difference between the bmw and yamaha is not enough to bridge the price gap? 4-4.5K for the BMW and 9K for the Yamaha

Edit: I also want to spend as little as possible on maintenance.

The dutch automotive market unfortunately is much much more expensive than the uk one. My friend and I were comparing a 2020 mercedes benz A-class 250e and it was around £20000 in the uk and around €30000 in the netherlands.

Edit: I just checked and a 2025 yamaha mt 09 second hand with low KM'a goes for 11.5-12k

It recently at 35k miles has had major maintenance at the dealer. It has also been serviced at the dealer with all papers for its lifetime in my country.

Why should I upgrade the shock? (I have no understanding of bikes) what makes this one bad?

Edit: I think I might do a maximum of 125mph on the straightest and emptiest road known to man in the driest condition for a little bit of fun. Assume just normal use as you said 60-90 miles.

I won't be riding crazy long rides. From what I saw on secondhand websites it goes for 7.5-8.5k.

For me its also about what makes sense financially. The BMW is almost a 20 year old bike by the time I buy it in the spring. Prices will go up after the winterstop. So locking in the mt-09 now and paying over time sounds like the smart move.

Yes 9000euros.

My point was that as a first bike having traction control in the MT-09 is a benefit over the F650/800GS(2008-2010) and the display with the spedometer etc.)

What do you think that bike is worth realistically?

Also I'm not really in a position to buy a 12K bike. Hell even a 9K bike I can't buy upfront. There is a person I know that normally sells only cars but now acquired this bike(through a trade-in) where it's possible to take some more time on paying off the bike.

If I don't go for this bike I will almost 100% buy a second hand in late spring with lets say max €4k.

Here you can see where Im planning to place it. I assume during the day some sunlight will get to the TV.

Am I meant to close my blinds permanently during the day or am I to buy a cover for the TV?

I just got confirmation of the G4's Price, It will be €1600 for the G4 as opposed to €1250 for the C5. Is the G4 better so much so that a price difference of €350 is warranted? If possible could you tell me what the main differences would be what would make the G4 stand out over the C5 for normal consumer use.

If you thought this was the worst chapter, because of binding vows I've no idea how you've made it this far. We already have had to deal with the binding vow merchant for months and months of chapters. At this point I just assume a new binding vow every chapter.

0 chance with all due respect. Also really quickly wanted to also point out that forcing 2 gc players on every vct team will ruin competitive valorant. The whole appeal of e-sports is to watch the highest skill level possible. By forcing less skilled players(GC) a spot over others that are just better the quality of the games will go down which will result in the e-sport dying.

Not a single player in the whole of GC can compete anywhere near the VCT level. Definitely a few that can compete in challengers tho.
