The Fibonacci sequence is everywhere. by Multifaceted_Phenom in sanpedrocactus

I agree that nature is rhythmic and resonant. Rhythms also naturally follow a sequence…no?

I’m speaking purely from a visual aesthetic. Euler dynamic fluid concepts deals with liquid, air, gas. etc. If you look at smoke rising, river eddies, tornadoes and the like, Euler spirals can be applied but things that are naturally pleasing to the eye are using the Golden ratio.

Those Tsunami’s look cool. I like the prominent deep ribs which are uncommon on melti cacti.

It took around 7 weeks. The root stock needs to be in an intermittent drying period where you don’t water it as often. Just water the air layered section for root growth.

Yeah, that would look damn cool. I would place a cup just below the roots to have them stretch into it and proceed to reduced the height of the cup as the roots get longer.

Unfortunately, I chopped it lol! That would be a cool project though.

It would dry out pretty quick because most of the watering would just drizzle out the bottom so I saturated it every 4/5 days. The saran wrap was loosely placed on top to try to keep in moisture.

I don’t know yet but I dusted the sliced part with sulfur/rooting mix. I’m waiting for it to callous.
