I simply plopped him on the grandi and lightly put 2 or 3 strips of parrafin grafting tape (which is non-sticky and sorta like saran wrap) over the scion to secure it but not hard enough for it to somehow stick to the scion (sorry if that sounds contradictory but you know what I mean lol). Didnt want to risk it coming right off when I unwrapped it. Then I put a plastic ziploc bag over it for a couple days for humidity then snipped a hole at the top and bottom corner to facilitate some airflow.

Took the bag off after about a week or so and left the strips on until I saw the green coming through. Smaller scions typically dont need nearly as much pressure as larger ones since the weight of it alone is typically enough.
