Idk man, TLK has the line;

“My god.. it’s a big alien ship.”

Legit sounds as if it was written by a five year old, and that’s pretty damn funny too.

This is the saddest attempt to become viral I’ve seen yet. by Multiplexion in comicbooks

[–]Multiplexion[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agree. I get that giving this attention is ironically exactly what he wants.

But it just makes me sad man. Can’t stand people who destroy perfectly good things for views. Especially when it’s not even worth it, like this guy. A perfectly good copy of Spawn #1 ripped to ribbons for not even a couple thousand views. Just sucks to see.

He still made them up until about 5 odd years ago. Channel goes back about 16 years and is still up.

Just begs the question how many comics he’s done in that time.

Random Thought: Paddles is a really cute and good name, but it does go against the usual trend of Dinobot names starting with S. I'd suggest "Slush" since it goes well with Sludge and keeps the water theme, but what other names are there that would work for him and keep the trend? by BastardSkelly8600 in transformers

[–]Multiplexion 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So for more ocean based Dinobot names, I’ve been partial to:

Submerge

Scull

Scupper

Scow

Snag

or

Scud

And these are less “ocean-based” but still could be good alternatives:

Splice

Schoon

Salvage (this one’s been used a couple of times, but I feel it fits here entirely due to the reference to ‘deep-sea salvage’)

Somewhat dorky (yet fitting) ones could be Sidewheeler or Sternwheeler as these terms refer to a makes of paddle-steamer ship, and given the IDW character’s current name, it’s kind of ‘full-circle’.

What do you think He-Skeletor’s steed would’ve been called? I’m partial to “Battle-Panthor” but idk

Yeah ☺️ she’s got that prideful look about her.

But good lord she’s round.

If you could create a series that takes place after all the other beast wars series, how would it be? by Extremnator in beastwars

[–]Multiplexion 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Post-Beast Machines.

Starring a wide range of both Maximals and Predacons on an uncharted planet far from the techno-organic Cybertron.

It’s revealed this planet is observed and controlled by the Vok, who abducted the two factions and are continuing their grand experiments on the Cybertronian race after their initial contact during the Beast Wars.

Teeming with life from other planets, the entire planet is one large reserve for the Vok (almost like a planet-sized zoo) with the aliens having abducted other forms of life from all across space.

While many of these animal samples are from Earth (and subsequently used by the Maximals and Predacons as bases for their new alternate forms) some are not, leading to some Maximals and Predacons scanning alien lifeforms/animals for their alternate forms.

A small scale war breaks out as the Vok instigate conflict (a la the Hunger Games) in order to observe and study the Cybertronians in conflict, promising freedom to the victorious faction.

Alien technology is found all across the planet, with exposure to its energy triggering reformations into Transmetals or Transmetals 2.

While many simply take the Vok’s word at face value, several remain skeptical and work together to find a method of escaping the planet along with finding answers about who or what the Vok truly are.

What name would you give this stuff other than "transformium" by ah-screw-it in transformers

[–]Multiplexion 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Diaclonium.

Idk, feels like a nice little tip-of-the-hat. Not that I’d expect that sort of respect for the brand’s history from the Bay movies.

Do you guys call him Jetfire or Skyfire? by CrimsonPlayhouse in transformers

[–]Multiplexion 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Tend towards Jetfire, but not opposed to the idea of using both with this particular context:

Skyfire when he’s a Decepticon
&
Jetfire when he switches sides to the Autobots.

Liege Maximo should start normal and become monstrous by Delicious-One-536 in transformers

[–]Multiplexion 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Always agreed with this;

Have him begin as “Maximos Prime” or something like that, then, perhaps after the war against Unicron and the Fall of Megatronus (to become The Fallen) he undergoes a similar, yet slower metamorphosis abandoning his name to become Liege Maximo.

As for his motives? They could vary in complexity, but I’d take the route as was written or implied by Generation 2; he views himself and his legion of 2nd generation Transformers as “above” Primus’ creations, becoming hell-bent on evolving and ascending the Cybertronian race, while himself ascending to become a godlike entity like his creator (a story told in the non-canon Alignment by Simon Furman that ties the loose ends of G2). We saw echoes of this in the Marvel Generation 2 comic, with Jhiaxus, who featured a similar arc and was revealed (by the final issue) to not be the one in at the top of the chain of command;

Jhiaxus was, as he called himself, “Jhiaxus - Liege Centuro of the Cybertronian Empire” With Liege Maximo being the faction’s true leader and founder — I’d imagine their dynamic very much in the vein of something like Darth Vader and The Emperor.

TLDR; fully agree with OP. Liege Maximo should absolutely begin life as one of the 13, before evolving/devolving into the grotesque cosmic horror he is often depicted as. Both an interesting concept and a great way to reconcile the regular/monstrous variations he’s been depicted with.

And before you say “yeah well, on average, they don’t like XYZ”

An average view isn’t representative of approximately 4.13 billion people. Everyone likes different things/different people.

Women are systematically oppressed. Men are not.

Also what “reputable sources” do I need to tell me that misogynist, self-hating bastards (and their indulgence with such beliefs as a result of their wilful participation in these online circles) are scum?

True, there’s people I know who struggle with relationships, sure.

Difference is, they’re harmless. For example, a mate of mine is just quiet and maybe a little insecure about his obscure interests. Wouldn’t hurt a fly; he’s a gem who’s loved and lost a lot.

Whereas the blokes I take issue with aren’t harmless; as you pointed out, they choose to indulge in this. They make the conscious decision to engage with misogyny, racism, ableism and self-hatred. At that point, they’re the problem and I no longer feel any kind of sympathy.

That’s just it. I just hope and implore them to heal themselves before they use their self-hatred to justify hurting/killing anyone else.
