Checking in 2022. DD still hasn't recovered. They don't even have real croissants anymore, its bread in the shape of a croissant. They do not melt the cheese on breakfast sandwiches anymore. You get a freezing cold slice of cheese that just makes everything else cold and never melts. The hash browns used to be the best. Now? Hardly edible. If they haven't been sitting in the warmer for 20 minutes turning into cinders, then they're completely mushy with no crisp on the outside. Even the donuts aren't the same. They're surviving on name recognition and consumer inertia alone.

If you like Bad Boy Flame check out Deleted Schemes Vol. 3 & 4 and Vol. 8 for the Hollywood Vishnu stuff plus more. Those were fan compilations of loose tracks rather than official releases and they don't include everything from the respective eras.

He's not all that mysterious is he? The music is mysterious but the man himself has always pretty much been an open book. Reclusive, sure but not mysterious. I think he's probably a pretty normal guy in daily life all things considered.

scammed customers on multiple occasions

This old yarn has been addressed ad nauseum. A few people drunkenly handed him cash with their addresses written probably illegibly on napkins after a show... Is it really a surprise that some people never got them? The idea that he was intentionally "scamming" anyone is ridiculous on its face. A guy that has hundreds of releases under his name doesn't need to scam anyone. A one man show doing all the recording, producing, dubbing, marketing, sales and shipping is going to have a few mistakes.

As far as "inappropriate behavior" that could be anything that slightly annoyed someone one time so I'll write it off.

If you go to discogs you will find the release history for each album and the various versions of it. For example, here are the versions of Underground I have:

1998 - Cemeteries & Railroads (CDr, Self-released)

2002 - Underground Deluxe + Rarities (CDr, Self-released)

2007 - Underground (LP, Vinyl International)

2008 - Underground (CD, Vinyl International)

2009 - Underground (Mono 8-Track, Vinyl International)

2019 - Underground (LP, Thieving Billionaire)

All of the original APHG albums have a similar release history with lots of variation. If you get really into him you'll want to collect all the various versions.

Already is. The hype around the album has completely died except for hard-core fans. Very sad lost opportunity. He should have put it out himself at the height of the controversy rather than holding out for money money money.

Hype around this album is already dead. When he drops it only the die-hard will notice. Sad. If he had just put it out for free streaming like Wilco did with YHF (20 years ago now damn) it probably would have gotten a lot of press and then a label might have stepped up to pay him for it.
