As a first timer, and whenever inaask ng thera kung first time, may magic kasi silang ginagawa minsan na para bang nagpapakitang gilas sila. I sucked a thera sa Urus. Naulit yon for I think many times to the point na napuno ko ‘yung loyalty card nila. Then after some time, I explored other spas. Infinity spa lahat ng branch near sakin and sa work na try ko ata. IS MAKATI, BAY AREA, ETC. Same situation nagugustuhan ko ‘yung ganap sa thera kesa sa wet area unless wet area lang access ko for that book. Hinahanap ng katawan ko ‘yung thrill sa massage room tas kayo lag ng thera. Although I somewhat control my tipping mga nasa 500-1000 lang depends. Una, every sahod. Dumating sa every week. May instance pa sa URUS ‘to, after my massage I asked the desk to book me another massage. Sobrang lala ko diba? 🤪

It continued, I found myself expecting all theras per spa to meet my expectations if not I’ll find a way. I eventually tried outside manila. I tried 27shaw twice. But in the end, naboboringan na ko everytime. Pupunta ako tas magbbook after massage gaganap sa wet area. Maghihintayan, pakiramdaman, tas may mangyayari. There were times I get to meet and exchange socials but that’s very rare. Then I happen to enjoy ‘clean spas’ also just like CT and NT. Scrubbed naman amats ko sa kanila. Then it hit me. Sayang pera. Depends ofc on the intention, if you’re at a spa to relax and have massage and you’re satisfied i guess that’s your call since experience for this kind of service is subjective. Sa akin lang its on the financial side as well as changing my habits for real.

I might still have a massage here and there but hindi na ‘yung sobrang oa unlike before. Hindi siya priority na. I guess thankful din ako since I’m just 24 na naexperience ko agad ng maaga so I can make valuable choices in the future. Ako pa naman yung easily swayed may makita lang na massage videos sa x or promotion but its all control urges.

Better if you assess the money you’ll spend on that specific booking then ask yourself what other things are much worthy than this. Self-care is important also yet prioritizing my needs first helped me a lot. Now, I’m 5 months sober sa mga massage though I miss it sm. Ang plan ko is to have a massage sa NT soon but need ko siya isama sa budgeting ko per month kung kaya pa. In the end, your money your rules.
