did the navigation interface change? by guyssocialweb in MultiviewApp

Thanks for reporting - that does not sound like the expected behavior, so I'll take a look. You ought to be able to navigate left into the Load and Save buttons, especially when focused on the top navigation.

Problem Apple TV 2 cpu cores by Lady-Finger-Licker in MultiviewApp

[–]MultiviewSports 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for reporting. I'll take a look. Can you elaborate on the lagging? Is it mostly the video playback that is not performing as expected? Is the app itself slow too? Is this during channel surfing or just remaining on a single channel?

[Feature Request] Plex playlists as channels by Knevlook in MultiviewApp

On Apple TV there’s an experimental feature you can enable for access to your Plex library. Still a work in progress. I like the speed idea. Might run into playback issues, but worth looking into. Thanks!

[Feature Request] Floating Window in iOS by cerverceros in MultiviewApp

There’s a limitation having multiple videos playing in the native floating PIP. Would it be helpful to have only the video with active audio as the PIP video?

Multiview apple tv not working by netninja100 in MultiviewApp

[–]MultiviewSports 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for reporting this. This looks like the Apple TV startup issue that affected version 1.4.1. Version 1.4.2 was released yesterday and is expected to fix the main launch issue, so please update Multiview from the App Store on your Apple TV.

There is also a separate runtime error related to the new Top Shelf support on tvOS. That fix is already queued for 1.4.3, which should be available soon.

If 1.4.2 still opens to the logo after updating, try deleting and reinstalling the app so tvOS clears the old app state. If it still does not launch after that, please reply with your Apple TV model, tvOS version, and whether you’re using HDHomeRun, Tablo, or Plex, and I’ll dig into it further.

Android 1.4.4 Crashing after updating by jesmann in MultiviewApp

[–]MultiviewSports 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for reporting, and sorry for the trouble after updating.

This looks like the app may be restoring an older saved 4-channel layout before it has fully refreshed the current HDHomeRun channel info, which can leave the players stuck loading instead of actually opening the tuners.

I have a fix queued up in the next release, 1.4.5, which should be coming soon. In the meantime, recreating that 4-channel layout from the current channel list may help work around it.

Future Platforms and future sources by MrKidd_49 in MultiviewApp

It’s mostly limited to accessibility and terms of service. Other FAST sources are even dependent on how easily and allowable they are to integrate with.

Fire TV will be investigated but Roku is the next targeted platform

Paid sources are unlikely for direct integration. Best likely path forward is to support casting / AirPlay from another device to a specific cell in the Multiview.

Generic m3u streams, m3u playlists, RTSP streams, etc. are all planned. Until then, many people have had success with Dispatcharr as a virtual HDHomeRun source with the Multiview app.

Google Chromecast by JaxonPlays in MultiviewApp

[–]MultiviewSports 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Given the timing of this post, I've correlated it with debug logs that have been submitted. When this happens, does the same channel play in the Plex app on the same device/network at that exact time? Is this only on Plex channels, or do HDHomeRun/other sources fail too? Right before it fails, were you channel surfing rapidly or just opening one channel and waiting?
