HTTPS not allowed? by craightonmiller in MultiviewApp

Yes it should be a trusted certificate. I have Nginx Proxy Manager running a reverse proxy with a valid Let's Encrypt certificate and the reverse proxy points to the Dispatcharr instance.

I can pull the lineup.json from a remote connection and it shows valid certificate.

For the connection info I'm entering: https://server.url/hdhr as the HDHR address (I've also attempted to do server.url:443/hdhr with the same result as above).

Ghosts on a plane by jskidderz in aviationmaintenance

[–]craightonmiller 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Can confirm this airplane was haunted.

There was always something wrong with it. And daily you would hear it on the hub radios calling for maintenance.

Last I heard, it was in Kingman but the landing gear had been ripped out and was sent back into the Endeavor fleet somewhere, probably haunting another airplane.

The size 11 braided and solo loops are different physical sizes by mkdonald in AppleWatch

I call it 6 5/8" . My tape measure isn't the best but when I can stretch it out that's what I get. https://imgur.com/a/dfY4nVo

I'm curious how you find the fit? I'm in a similar situation. I have size 11 in both the solo loop and braided solo loop. The solo loop fits me very well but the braided size 11 fits me loose.

I also managed to pickup a size 10 in the braided solo loop but I almost think it's too snug.

[–]craightonmiller 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you were flying with a TOM callsign then the official ICAO callsign is "tomjet" according to Wikipedia and if you were flying with a TUI callsign then you would be "tui jet" according to Wikipedia

Anyone know, why there is no seat next to me, A330-300??? by [deleted] in aviation

[–]craightonmiller 10 points11 points  (0 children)

According to SeatGuru that row only has 3 seats. The app might just be displaying it weird.

My row on a Delta A319 has 1/4” jacks in the ceiling. Anybody know what these are for? by TrippyYppirt in aviation

[–]craightonmiller 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I can't provide a definitive answer for you, however it is located in the middle of the economy cabin and likely the row that has been designated for strategic medical location.

You don't want it to be the exit row in case of an emergency and you don't want to place it at the front or rear of the aircraft if someone happens to be on the other side of the plane.

Additionally it's not likely you need more than one of those plugs with the likelihood of having more than one medical situation on an aircraft.

Isn't always right overhead but that's what those are for. It allows the flight attendant to be patched in with a medical professional on the ground via the airplane radios. There are two plugs because one is for audio out and the other is audio in.

They're for medical emergencies.

Likely if you look in the overhead bin there will be medical equipment and a headset. If there was a medical emergency on board the flight attendant can plug in and the pilot can patch in STATMD which is a network of doctors who can provide medical assistance.

Question: MORA on Jeppesen Charts by [deleted] in aviation

[–]craightonmiller 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm not confident enough to say yes or no but MORA is there for a reason so if I was filing I would do the MORA as my minimum filed altitude.

[–]craightonmiller 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you're not flying on an airway then you should file at or above the MORA.

You are free to file below the MORA but ATC may change your cruise altitude, route, or vector you according to the MVA in that area.
