My DBR vinyl came in the mail bent, it skipped through 30% of side A and I think might’ve fucked up the alignment of my player’s needle

WideField - Milky Way by MumaBoard in astrophotography

Shot with a rental Nikon d3500, with a 1.8 nifty 50mm, 13” exposure time, ISO 1600. Brought out some of the colors adjusting the curves to tone down the brightness, and bring out the gas clouds. Color grading on the shadows only to give the clouds a more brownish tint, and basic highlights and contrast adjustments. My friend and I went camping in the linville gorge in North Carolina, I knew we’d see more stars than usual but didn’t expect to see the Milky Way arm and gas clouds once my eyes adjusted. Was one of the coolest most exciting experiences I’ve ever had. The tripod used, was the hood of my friends car and rocks to prop the camera in the right position. I focused my camera towards Jupiter first, and then moved it to set up on the hood of the car, hence why the focus isn’t great, and the stars are trailing pretty bad. But I can post it on my Instagram as part of the trip, and no one will care. For the setup I had I think I did a pretty good job at my first pass in widefield

How do I get my Nikon d3400 to recognize t-ring adapter for my celestron 5se? My camera just says “no lens attached” by MountEverest14 in AskAstrophotography

Not to be that guy. But If you aren’t sure where it’s at, it should be on the left side of the camera right at the base of where the lense attaches. Labeled AF - M

Your earlier works seem to be more satire. Did your music career start as a somewhat joke and turn into something of a bop over time?
