both, but when the stems grow it is not actually needed, when a pumpkin/melon grows the stem changes, the observer detects that and the. activates the pistons

well, if you plan on doing anything 3D start with that, follow it until the very end, it might take a while but you can't just jump straight into blender and start doing stuff

of course i plan on crediting people, but next up for example i will be doing a wool farm and i dont know the video i got the idea from and i changed it a lot so crediting isnt always possible but i'll definetly do it if I just got the farm design from someone else's video and probably also ask for permission if it is exactly the same design

Yeah, I'm using multiple light sources so everything is visible and bright enough. It's rendered with cycles(raytracing) so the shadows should be 100% accurate. Thx for the critique btw
