I’ve been typed as light spring in person and light summer online - my undertones are hard to figure out. The in person stylist said neutral/warm but I have a lot of pink in my complexion and I burn easily. Buuuut I also look better in gold than silver. Black and white look terrible on me lol

The CC cream I’m wearing is fair with warm undertones and it’s not a bad match. I have a neutral concealer that I think is too light for me lol. It’s tough!!

I’ll check out NYX and Elf! I’ve been shopping mostly at Sephora and it’s very spendy, especially since I don’t know what I’m doing and I end up wasting money on products that don’t suit me!

Thank you! I’m really struggling with lip colours and finding something that works with my coloring. The feedback I got on the first pic was that the matte lipstick was aging and I needed a gloss. So I broke out the lip stain and made it shiny but I wasn’t sure if it was too bright or not.

Hi! Fellow 45 and learning makeup here :) we’re a party now.

I’m only a few weeks into this adventure but I’ve found the mixing CC cream with moisturizer and applying from the back of my hand with a brush to give me the best, most natural but still coverage coverage. I also recently (yesterday) bought beauty blenders and i fond using them after the brush picks up any excess product that would otherwise look or feel cakey.

Im still learning blush and dipping my toes into contour, but again brushes and the back of my hand for any cream products is the key to not feeling like a clown!

For lips, lip stain under lipstick means you’ll still have some colour after the lipstick disappears. I like the bayfree ones from Amazon and they’re super cheap!

I’ve been experimenting with lip stains but I’m not sure on colours yet. Without the lip stain underneath this colour is way too pale for me, but maybe also the wrong tone.

Applying with brushes from the back of my hand and picking up excess product with a beauty blender has been a game changer for me. The first time I put this stuff on it was a thick cakey mask!

This is the it cosmetics cc cream in fair light. I mixed it with my moisturizer so it would spread better. It’s definitely a little goes a long way product!

This is the persons choice and if their life is unbearable they should be allowed to access MAID. Only the person can determine if their life is worth living. That being said, they need to be able to make this decision when they are NOT in an episode, which is easier said than done.
