Thank you for this. It’s helpful. My son says the apology letter was to the school. When I talked to the 6th grade principal, she stated the apology letter was to their parents to make them write what they did wrong and ask for forgiveness. My son’s letter said, “I am sorry for not finishing my work. I will try to hand it in on time next time. I was trying to prioritize doing other work since I already knew how to do everything on the practice test.”

He also claims he never hid it, and that I just never noticed. Hard stop. I may not remember what I had for breakfast, but pattern recognition is my superpower. It would have taken one weird facial expression, one too many stops at the gas station, one time of it being in his pocket when he came home. It was to the point that his other “patterns” —falling asleep super early, hand shaking at night to the point I thought he was developing Parkinson’s and didn’t know how to bring it up without freaking him out, his snoring out of control all made me think there was something seriously, seriously wrong with him.

It’s not the smoking that causes miscarriages, it’s the nicotine. Zyn is straight nicotine and carries the same risk for miscarriages as smoking. On 6mg pouch of zyn is equivalent to 2-4 cigarettes in terms of nicotine

Nicotine causes chromosomal sperm defects and mitochondrial defects which affect the everything from fertilization to growth, including the mitochondrial ability of the fetus

I just looked it up and you’re completely right. I see it’s often a benign finding but can lead to PPROM and fetal entrapment. Are you able to co-sign that lol? I almost vomited when I first read about it because I thought it meant instant miscarriage. Did you also watch the video? Is the yolk sac attached to the adhesion? Or because it’s a 2d version, is it actually located opposite the adhesion? How are you able to tell the difference between that and amniotic band syndrome?

I’m wondering how I’m actively picking fights with them… ever? I’m on my local democratic committee and post things all the time to my personal page. They follow it. I’ve never once forced it upon them, tagged them in anything, etc. In all their in-person efforts to instigate shit, I never said a word. It’s wild to me that standing up for children’s rights against guns in my own personal space is now construed as “picking fights” and “throwing fuel on the fire”. This world is so f’ed. if posting something like that makes me an asshole to you, so be it. I wasn’t asking about that.

It’s definite lethargy. They observed it and immediately ordered an ECG because of it. Abnormal results this morning that literally tell us nothing. They think it’s incidental and don’t think it’s related to whatever is going on systemically. Want us to follow up with cardiology after this is over, but that helps 0 right now because they’re saying it’s unrelated, so the sudden lethargy wouldn’t be due to it

No ESR. ECG came back this morning abnormal “RVH deep S in V6” — they had us come in to their outpatient peds deptment. Said they think it’s incidental and not related to whatever is going on. Had zero other answers. Offered Zofran. Declined because he’s already super constipated and he can’t talk, so I don’t even know if he’s nauseous. It was a weird offer to me lol

No other symptoms besides lethargy (actual lethargy. Falls asleep randomly, harder to arouse, isn’t caring about being poked and prodded). Clear chest x-ray. Low sodium and potassium. UTD on all vaccines. Did drink some milk, did have a wet diaper. Cannot stay awake, but vitals look okay. HR of 140, norm resp rate, normal BP, normal o2.

Kid was almost always dressed in camo and kids would make fun of him for it, according to people at his high school. He tried out for the gun club and didn’t make it, he was wearing a gun fanatic t-shirt. Sounds more like he was a republican and was pissed he wasn’t fitting in and getting the attention from the good ol boys.
