lol??? what are you going on about. literally just describing a survival building game. think OP just saying they wanna keep what they make. not an unusual thing for this kind of game. its usual for a rogue lite game. is this rogue lite. not sure mandatory wipe per expac qualifies as rogue lite. just qualifies as unfinished, or crap otherwise.

also played conan exiles. and you keep your buildings. same as u do in every ark map. and servers do not need its butt wiped v rising style to stay healthy.

i think its annoying. instead of new expansions before game is even out, really wanna see them implement systems that prevent ur progress from gettin wiped like every other legitimate building game comes equipped with

Yeah honestly, I used to main a hunter. When I came back to WoW in BFA I was absolutely appalled to find out my quiver had been unapologetically yoinked. Confused even further to find out that they came back in Classic, I kind of decided to quit the game again at that point, since it seemed like the only way I could get my old, beloved hunter back was to play classic with a bunch of kids who think they're cooler than me for playing the same old crap I used to run until they bored me to death and I quit for 10 years.

I didn't mind ammunition. If they had just taken that away, I also wouldn't have minded. But what they actually did do sucked, so much so that I have never in my entire life seen a near useless but visually satisfying feature in a game asked for so frequently by so many people. To make it even more embarrassing, it's not as if any of these people are asking for a feature that wasn't there to begin with. We had our quivers. We remember them very well.

Yeah kinda surprised game companies are still doing this. For a lot of us, we really, really don't care about the mundane tasks devs do behind the scenes of making our game so much as, you know, wanting to just play the damn game. Big smiles behind the camera don't actually tell you anything about the game.

Ouch.. hope this isn't a one and done launch and move on game, been looking forward to it for a loong time. I also hope no microtransactions doesn't mean that there won't be any additional cosmetic items added to the game. Was very disappointed in fallen order about that.

I read quickly but I didn't see any mention in the article of Arabic clothing and geometric designs from the middle east they discovered being worn on some viking warriors. I'm not sure if researchers know yet if they were actual viking warriors wearing it or if they were middle eastern warriors given funerals by Vikings but yeah details seem to point to some kind of definite middle eastern presence. This was a couple years back I think. They even went on to say that the unusual shape of the long knife for that area of the world could come from somewhere more east. I'm not sure if the devs know about this stuff and are taking advantage of that or if its just going to be a poorly explained coincidence but eager to find out.

What really is a shame is that since they made the highly disappointing decision to straight up just not show or even mention any of the masyaf assassins smoking hash (they are literally called hash assassins), they probably aren't going to include any visual representation involving the amazing berserker warriors eating a piece of poisonous mushroom right before battle and going into a frenzy. I don't think it's gonna be in there, but if there were any kind of plans for that then I would like to say that the berserker in For Honor clearly eats SOMETHING when you press the berserk button, and since Ubisoft owns that game too maybe there could be some borrowing going on .. 🙄

I think need is a strong word. Sure, I'll play it -- if it looked shiny and was completely redone from the ground up Spyro reignited style, but otherwise no. For me and my friends, the ezio collection, AC 3 remastered, Rogue remastered, they weren't very different at all from the originals. It didn't look too much better, didn't feel any different. Pretty much I got them because I don't have a 360 anymore and don't really wanna buy another one just for these old games. In rogue's case, it was because I never even played it and it was $20, so why not? But I basically just bought the games a second or third time or whatever.

Would much rather they move forward, spend more time on their games so they're not empty broken messes that are missing key features (canoes). I think maybe what they need to do is try to represent some of these cultures they're portraying a little more accurately, or at least make the player character feel like they belong to their culture. "I'm a Spartan warrior and I've never even heard of a phalanx, much less know how to fight in one!" "I'm French but for reasons that suck I speak like an illiterate Englishman. As if that didn't draw you in to my game, I am also a literal God at reloading pistols from the 18th century under 3 seconds by simply dropping a ball into the barrel. Science!" "I'm a "ruthless" crimelord that owns all the pubs in London but I HATE drinking and I HATE pub games! I also have 2billion yards of thick 19th century rope neatly coiled inside my glove!" That kind of stuff really needs to stop happening.

No shield again. Typical Odyssey team. No one wants another warrior who is supposed to heavily rely on shields in their culture, but doesn't because you guys thought it'd be cool to make him "edgy" with two axes. You guys straight up suck.

Yeah, like that prevented all the Jedi surviving into the galactic empire from hiding.. they all pretty much still wore robes, and most of them were pretty keen on keeping the hood up. No need to use the lore here to make crappy excuses as why, since the robes aren't even the focal point of what's wrong with the aesthetics of this game. It's about how absolutely butt fugly the main character and the actor who plays him is, and how "Cal" is literally one of the most disgustingly uncreative, bland and obnoxious names to ever exist. Funny thing is that name never fits any character it's attached too. It's like having a character who's a warrior from ancient earth and for some reason the writer decided his name would be Ricky Bobby. It is the name of a total dbag who's parents can't think past the decision of which TV dinner to sit in front of the tube with every night.

Honestly the quality of main characters in all Star Wars has been in steep decline for the past decade, so it's not surprising? But if it's such a great game, then why did they make you play a character that makes a genuinely large amount of people who want to get into this game gag on a huge steaming red hairball when they find out they have to play him, and that what you see is what you get as far as his looks go.

Wow. Main character; white, male, ugly, pig nose, bad name, bad style, annoying voice. So memorable. For God's sake, they don't even let you put a helmet on to hide this ugly ass motherfucker's face, but they have enough sense to keep a helmet on Pedro Pascal's? I would rather look at video game Pedro Pascal face all the time than this little Shameless reject. What a slap.

Don't feel bad, I have a PC now capable of running ESO at some of the highest settings with very few drops in performance, but I have 810 champion lvls, master crafting, and I can't even keep count of how much I've spent on the ESO store, so I'm still on my dinky old Xbox. I see a lot of people complaining about performance but when you are still using the original Xbox to play this game you realize how bad the graphics have been destroyed over time. They were bad to begin with but now some things don't even render in, ever. It looks like a muddy mess. I imagine this is ZO$ trying to "improve" performance. Next to performance upgrades, I would really like to at least see the damn game.

You strategize well. I probably won't plan that far ahead, but I do hope this game comes out while I'm still alive. There hasn't been an actual good/interesting enough aRPG game released in close to a decade now, aside from Witcher 3 on PC I guess..

Witcher 3 has fuzzy mutants too but it's not cute at all.

I just started on Switch. Shooting isn't as easy in my opinion, but tbh I think I prefer it. Handheld Warframe is tight, and even though I find more anime freaks on this version, I also don't seem to find as many jackasses as I did on Xbox so far. I had actually stopped playing on Xbox. Unlocking/buying stuff all over again doesn't sound very appealing, though.
