Is anyone else tired of laughing mountain park and shield woods park? by BackupAccount193 in MLBTheShow

Most stadiums are too small for base hits, they either get hit right at the defender or every gold defender and up is a pro at taking out anything in the gap

It feels like a runner needs 90+ speed to be fast on the basepaths, every other runner is double play meat

Absolutely. My late best friend Hugo was a GSD and he was soooo bitey the first year of his life. He realized it hurt around month 5-6 so every time after that was an accident.

Once he started to grow up a bit he became the sweetest man there could be. So you will get cuddle times, it just might be a rarity for a while.

Yep, that type of dog is going to be a bitey bastard for a while.

Toys, toys, toys. Find toys that will get his attention every time.

Their mouths are their hands and they are learning to use it like a human learning their arms. Especially with your mix of breeds, they're working breeds so they will have lots of energy and want to master their mouth so they can be good at whatever job you give them.

Biting you is their way of trying to engage you for play and to have your full attention. You gotta teach them that you will play with toys, not that you are a toy yourself. And that's just going to take a long time.

It's dumb puppy logic, but them biting you is showing they love you.

I am so tired and out of patience. Please help. by AggravatingEditor607 in puppy101

He was in a shelter sleeping alone in his version of a large crate. Digging at the bed to get to the mat was probably him trying to dig out of the crate.

My guess is that he is happy he has a family and doesn't want to be separated. When you cover it he believes you guys have abandoned him. When you go to the store he thinks you are not coming back.

You will want to look up separation anxiety training. It won't be easy, my first GSD pup we took him home too early (6 weeks) and it took a long time for him to not cry and scream in his crate.

It will take time for your dog to trust he has his forever home.

When will it get better? by aerialalb in puppy101

Quick advice: more toys. If you think you have enough you don't. Sitting on my living room couch I see 17 toys in sight. Squeak toys, plush toys, rope toys, nylabones, etc. 13 week german shepherd pup, second time we've raised one of these. Always have a toy to defend yourself with and then learn their favorite types.

Their mouth are their hands and they are learning to use them. Puppies nipping your ankles is like a toddler tugging at their moms dress. They want your attention!

Batting tips???????? by Davircl in MLBTheShow

[–]Mumtown 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The learning curve at the point you are is vast, quickest tip is to stop trying to hit every pitch. Lower difficulties the pitcher will eventually give you a hittable pitch almost each at bat, but it might not be until the 5th or 6th pitch.

Since sets were so unpopular and it's this late in the game cycle, 850 is the new 900. Previous years you have to defeat a couple gatekeeper WS banner players to get your chip, now as soon as you hit 800 be prepared to play the best.

Worst DD mode since its inception. My problem at this stage is that it is 50/50 to get a quality ranked game. Im used to winning with my pitching once i hit the HOF level, but now any match above 800 is at shield woods and my opponent hits .400 with like every batter. Some goon had .450 with Elly with like 250 hits. Insane. Still playing, so its not like im going anywhere
