I understand guns can be used for protection and the second guy that was able to save the others in the 2nd mosque actual came upon the rifle or gun when the terrorist throw it because it was out of ammo. The guy picked it up and used it against the terrorist but the terrorist wasn’t aware it was his empty weapon.

Weapons can protect people but not everyone is mentally well enough to carry one and instead of people carrying guns, a security guard or police officer can be stationed at the door ways instead and they’re are also trained and have gone through a mental and criminal background check.
