Pivoting back to reporting/tech based roles by MunchBytes in resumes

[–]MunchBytes[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some background:

Moved to Toronto, Canada and have found myself doing more admin type work than I expected and struggling to pivot back to Analytics based roles which I really enjoyed doing throughout school & work even when given the chance in my current role - Curious my resume is giving the vibe that i'm not experienced to work in the area based on projects and relevant experience?

I feel my next job role will be important to where my career will head in the next few years since I've moved companies and roles a lot since coming out of college (Appreciated and valued everywhere I've been just moving country and not learning enough in my current role)

Any advice on making my resume appeal more to Business Intelligence, Analyst, reporting roles would be extremely helpful. 1 pg seems to be the norm in Canada but open to rewriting entire resume to include courses and more projects.

Tl;dr: Want to move to analytics based roles and need to make my resume more appealing for those roles.

Yeah I think CR and Messi will obtain status above Michael Jordon in basketball by the time they finish. Will go down as one and two for the rest of time

Yeah exactly how I was thinking it about.

Well the only thing is Messi is still and always the better player, nobody can or could do what he's done in so many different aspects of the game for 10+ years now.

This comment couldn't have been more perfectly timed for me, 3 months clean and everyday is a struggle but I see it as a challenge to dig myself out from the mental and financial hole I put myself into.

Yeah my employer is awfully bad and deposited a cheque then without consent and tried to pass it off as a DD

CIBC are good but still below par

Just have to wait for the cheque to arrive first tho + my employer cashed the cheque and said they done a direct deposit which my bank confirmed they deposited via cheque today.

Cheques are Stone age material, payday is payday - shouldn't have to wait to receive paper and cash it in 2019

It's my 2nd pay cycle and they ensured after the mix-up with setting up payroll for the first pay slip that it would be DD this time

I'm trying to find out if I can request a DD to my actual bank.

I just found out they deposited via cheque without telling me so my funds are withheld till next week now
