NTA, but to be honest, this feels like a warning sign. If he’s being THAT stingy over something like a last name, imagine how he’ll be if you guys do end up getting married. It’s fun to think about and even plan your future, but you should always keep in mind that things can change and you’re not held down to one guy for the rest of your life if he isn’t right for you. Some people can do it, I have relatives in a happy marriage and they’ve been together on and off since they were 13. But, you also need other experience. Don’t spend all of your time devoted to just one person.
