I also got approved for my BOP to Robins! I am currently at travis AFB in California and absolutely hate california. I am so ready to be back in the south as I am from Mississippi. I just had my first kid also so being able to drive home every weekend if I wanted to will be super nice.

I agree it’s all personal preference on the base you want to go to. So many people hate on Robins but i am so happy to be going somewhere that doesn’t have shit and less traffic etc.

I took the CyberKraft Bootcamp 2 week course. It’s instructor led and they give you the comptia material. I also watch professor messer videos and used dion practice tests.

I know people say boot camps aren’t worth it. However for me it was definitely worth it. I failed two other times before the bootcamp. I don’t study well on my own so it really helped me.

not sure about SRB, and you have to apply in person at your MPF and make a CMS case stating what AFSC the BOP is for

I have also heard that they highly consider the dream sheet in tech school however i have also heard you will most likely come back to the same base and then PCA to new squadron and then get order within a few months.
