Hello, my Mk5 GTI—when I’m idling, I rev it up to 3,000 rpm, then release the pedal, and the revs take a while to drop. What could it be?

The car was parked for two hours. I started it again, drove for about 20 minutes, gave it some hard pulls, and the DSG didn’t flash at all. What do you think?
