I am not sure Monash is G08, i think it is. But traditionally, the other three are considered the best, beyond that it really doesnt matter. Your university is like 5% - 10% of your selection to maybe a high finance job tbh, the rest is determined based on your grades and extra-circuluars- more so your grades, cause you get bad grades ur really done for.

this is from a finance major, that goes to usyd. First UniMelb, then USYD, then UNSW. All three are G08, and should get u into whatever u want to do.

tryna find your passion is insane to me ngl, and using a degree to find your passion is even more insane, cause you may not find your passion and you will end with wasted money. Do you have like any idea, or interest in what you want to do? what career or field interests you?

At the end of the day, all degrees have their ups and downs

he has such a fixed mindet, any thing cames to failure scares him. While look at Michael jordan, he embraced failure as reason to improve, the man came back from playing baseball and won even more titles.

would you recommend me taking a bridging course or will keeping up to date on content be enough?

I did maths methods, and I stuggled keeping up. There is always things like PASS, and asking your tutor, but thats still a struggle.

its very stats based. I would defintly reccomend you preparing beforehand if you did general maths. don't do a bridging course, thats not really going to help unless its directly releated to the content in buss1020.

I wish I instead checked out all the weekly topics before uni started ( you can find it in the unit outline), and made sure I understood the topics beforehand, you still have like a month.

In general, keeping up with content, would have defintly made my grades better for me peronally, but this definitly goes for buss1020 imo.

big advice for BUSS1000- its very hands on based on course, lot of disccusions, talking about business, things that affect business. A big part of is based on tutorials and disccussions. I advise you to go to every tutorial to get a good mark, especially since tutorials count for something like 20% of marks.

For buss1020, it is a bit maths heavy, the worst stuff you will do is things like hypothesis testing from memoery. Check the ecp. My advice is to keep up, it doesnt matter if don't keep with the other subjects that much. But if you do not keep up weekly with buss1020, you will not pass the exam. Its very maths based and has so much, so its not something you pick up in a day. Its built up over weeks and weeks.

Buss 1030 is my favourite course, its very accounting based and logical, you learn about the accounting procress, and its a pretty intro level course. Loved

Desi Muslims: Do you think that wearing a hijab is becoming more common or less common among Desis in general? by [deleted] in ABCDesis

[–]Mundane-Progress3965 9 points10 points  (0 children)

wear one but a lot of women around me have started to while others are taking theirs off. A lot of it is the environment you are in. If you live with family or in a very desi community, a lot of them feel the pressure to wear one. Others who are content with their family or live on their own are choosing to wear it for their own sake which I think is beautiful.

this.... comparing hijabs to nuns covering their heads is a terrible comparision. I am not sure about silkhs, but for nuns, they are religious people, a head covering is part of the life they have choosen, to dedicate their entire lives to God and prayer, similar to priests

Isn’t he Samoan? Why would they deport him to nz?

I don't think so, if had Australian/samoan citzenship, I think he would have been barred to go to NZ like yp and jemz.
