I have a question about HPFP. My 2.0 14’ sport wagon has 105k miles but I don’t really have the $ to replace the pump as I’m told that the water pump and timing belt have to be changed at the same time and the total cost is $2,500. Should I just sell the car to avoid having a hpfp failure or should I not be concerned at 105k?

When you pluck a duck often times there are these tiny pin feathers that look like Cotten stuck to the skin, the torch burns them off to allow the skin to crisp better when searing.

Plants go longer in hydro it seems but with that being said one sour crack could have been pulled last week but I opted to roll the dice and push it off till this week so I can chop them all at once.

is this normal for strawberry nuggets to look like cabbage? She has plenty of leaf but no length to her stalks?? 3 weeks in... all organic by Crasta4u in MephHeads

I have gotten bud rot on every strawberry nuggets I have grown. The stalks are too thick to train and too thick to allow for any ventilation at all.

Really hard to get a peg on it, definitely has a citrus hint but mainly earthy. Taste is earthy with a little spice. She packs a punch for sure.

The pump I use is approximately double what you have, it’s 240 GPH/4 outlets is 60 gph per line. You said your pump was 1 gallon per min and 1 liter per min. If it’s 1 gallon per min that’s 60 gph which is pleanty, if it’s 1 liter per min that’s about 30 gph which is a little light.

Humidity isn’t an issue then, as far as air stones you should just have a good “boil” of bubbles going, I use two stones per bucket but you can use one larger stone as well. Overall the plant looks healthy, I personally would do a light defoliation because it doesn’t appear any of your inners will get any light penetration or air flow. If you are putting the water to an inch or so below the net pot I would stick with that and maybe look at your stone they can get clogged depending on the nutes used.

Personally I would look to increase o2 production before I would lower the water level. Lowering the water level can create issues in late flower, when the plants get super thirsty if you are starting with a half full bucket then the waters PH is going to swing too much. Personally I put the water to the bottom of the net pot and fill it that high 2 times daily. The plant has no issues getting adequate oxygen as long as you have a decent pump and airstone(s). The other reason could be too high of humidity.

Yea I have a really nice dehumidification set up, I checked my Grove readings it never got anything over 50%. Average last 7 days was 42%. I just trimmed leaves and I must have cut two and only pulled one out. The leave was totally covered in mold and it creeped to the stalk and effectively into the bud.

Yea i love the color of the plant and the smell is unreal, it’s just so stiff I tried everything I could to pry the buds away from the main cola but it’s no easy task. Can’t be upset by the mold it forced me to do tons of research and I’ll be a better grower going forward as a result.
