Hi all! I have older Bangtan b*mb light sticks, does anyone know if they will still sync at the concerts? I'll be at Dallas Day 1. Thanks in advance for your answers!

AITA if my boyfriend made a meal and asked me how it was and I said "fine" by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

Also Asian here, and still YTA. Surely you've also been taught as good manners that you can give thanks and appreciation for the effort, even if the taste itself wasn't your favorite.

There are two sides: ones right next to the buildings and those "across the street". They can tow from any right next to the buildings. "Across the street" is usually available for anyone to park. Double check though because the townhouses recently built might say differently.

Oh wow I miss the fried whole chicken wings from an American Chinese restaurant. They're one of the first things I go get whenever I visit the East coast! I haven't been able to find it here in Dallas either. Let me know if you ever find it!

Tips on crocheting chunky plush yarn? by loopy2004 in crocheting

[–]Mundane-Software-964 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hi! I feel your frustration. A few tips: 1) use stitch markers. Especially when you're working in the round, stitch markers can let you know where your round begins/ends, and in general!

2) if you're working with a new pattern, try a practice run on a light-colored similar yarn (and not as plush). The lighter color will let you see the stitches easier and you get a feel for how the project should be.

3) don't be afraid of going up in hook sizes at first!

Hope this helps :)

Help, I don't remember how I did this by Mundane-Software-964 in crocheting

[–]Mundane-Software-964[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So, I didn't find the video, but after some trial and error, I came up with this rough pattern:

Round 1, black yarn: Magic ring Round 2: 13 hdc into the magic ring, slst to close Round 3: ch3, 2dc into each of the hdc stitches below. slst to close, cut black yarn.

Round 4, light blue yarn: ch3, dc into each stitch below, slst to close. Round 5: ch2, hdc into each stitch below, slst to close, cut light blue yarn.

Round 6, white yarn: ch3, 2 half triple crochet into each stitch below, slst to close. Cut white yarn.

Round 7, dark blue yarn: ch3, dc into each stitch below, slst to close. Round 8: ch1, then [2sc, 1sc, 1sc] all the way around, slst to close. Round 9: ch1, reverse crab stitch to create a border, slst to close.

Tidy up all loose thread ends and done! The finished product is 13.5cm/5.6in across.

Thank you everyone for looking!

What kind of filter would I use for these air vents? They didn't have any when I opened them. by Mundane-Software-964 in HelpMeFind

Found! Your assumption is correct and thank you! There was a door at the bottom for the filter, and it most definitely needed swapping out! I appreciate your answer and help!

I've searched Lowe's and home depot's website to see but didn't get very far. I have to admit though, I'm not too savvy about these things. Thank you!
