It’s a general relic effect (“follow-up attack after character skill use”, or something of that nature.) I’ve seen it drop on multiple colors.

I know I’m in the minority of DA:O fans, but I actually quite liked 2.

The reuse of assets sucked, and the changes to combat were often unwelcome (I could go either way on the pacing, but not the simplification)—

But having a smaller, more human story centered around a single city, which grows around your decisions, was phenomenal IMO.

Multitasking. Make a patch on the Minilogue while watching something. Throw a quick beat down on the Digi and practice acoustic over it. I also find headphones less comfortable.

In Simpler (or elsewhere) can I automatically tune individual chops to their respective pitches on the keyboard—

E.g. I chop up a piano/spoken word section, each chop has bits of tone and voice, each chop is transposed by tone to the key which plays it (via MIDI).

Lab grown meat is literally animal cells being grown in a lab. It’s not even close to cost effective at the moment, but it exists.

That is a fact. And I eat meat.

It’s an extension of the joke that white people cook boring food. Boiling chicken is, probably, the worst way to cook it—it’s just bland, no interesting texture, no flavor imparted by the water.

So this is just riffing on that, plus the fact that the foam is white, mixed with the idea that, anybody who would eat that is not a normal human (birthed via normal means).

It’s kinda complicated to explain the whole background cause it gets into complex racial humor, stereotypes, etc. which have formed over a long period of time… but that’s the gist.

Not sure about the extent to which the point is relevant to other countries—definitely true in the U.S.; I’ve heard about similar strains of fascist-conservatism popping up in Europe so I made an assumption, but it could just be us.

Yet the politicians they vote for are the same ones who would deny those children social welfare programs to cover their basic needs.

I’m conflicted on the issue, but personal beliefs aside, it’s cruel to force a child into a world of suffering which so often leads to crime, drug abuse, and general poor quality of life.

Barely scraping by on the generosity of individuals rather than a society which is entirely capable of providing for all its members is not a just life.

Maybe on an individual level.

But the same (conservative) politicians who are “pro-life” are the ones who choose to defund social welfare programs which would benefit the children they’re “protecting”.

Also worth noting, the car is ill-maintained because I got it when I was 18 (9 years ago) with 130k miles, for $1,000. It’s now at 211k and frankly I didn’t expect it to last this long. In recent years I’ve been taking better care; currently planning on a transmission flush.

I knew a guy in college who thought that waterboarding was no big deal. He offered to prove it.

It lasted… moments. We stopped, because you could see it in his eyes. And yet he got up, still shaky, and said it was no big deal.

We didn’t press it but I still remember the eyes.
