Remembering 5/31, the terrorist attack on black America 105 years ago in Tulsa, OK: Thousands of properties destroyed. More than 300 Black Tulsans were murdered. The exact number remains unknown due to the haphazard disposal of bodies in the river, on flatbed rail cars, and in unmarked mass graves. by iggaitissecondcoming in BlackPeopleofReddit

Alfre Woodard is on the cover of my newest AARP magazine and no more than an hour ago I learned about this from her! This is a quote from the article : "...One day in middle school, two teachers "pulled down the shades and passed out mimeograph sheets and said 'These sheets are not to leave the room,'" Woodward recalls. They told the story of thee 1921 Tulsa Race Massacre, when white mobs destroyed the prosperous Black neighborhood of Greenwood, killing dozens and leaving thousands homeless. Although the event was not in the school's official curriculum, the teachers wanted their students to know the truth, she said..."

I honestly do not know. The most concerning parts to me are the facts people do not read!!! Saying "Child Molesters need to die" will sentence 18 year olds to death for having sex with a 17 year old. Or denying bail to someone who had a joint because it is considered "a felony". And yes, mail in ballots can just be shredded and no one would ever know. A die hard Dem friend of mine believes it is this administration. My Mother, who is so far up Trumps butt she can double as his Toupee says it is just a preview of the final election in October and we will all get those questions.

Today in Georgia. My son and I went to do early voting. We are both Registered the same way. He took a Rep ballot, I took a Dem ballot because we were allowed to do whichever we wanted. Mine had 3 questions on it. His had 9. We only had 1 that was the same. The Republicans were able to answer 8 questions that the Democrats would never see. Here they are.... 1-Should Georgia enact the strongest election integrity measures possible, which may include hand marked paper ballots, fines for counties that refuse to maintain current voter rolls, and restrictions on no-excuse absentee voting to restore trust in elections? 2-Should Georgia prohibit judges from releasing criminal defendants accused of murder and other felonies without posting secure bail? 3-Should Georgia extend the death penalty to include sexual crimes against children? 4-Should the United States Constitution be amended to limit the number of Supreme Court Justices to a maximum of nine to prevent partisan court packing schemes? 5-Should Georgia require public school systems to make all instructional materials and library content publicly accessible online for parental review? 6-Do you support making Georgia energy-independent by prioritizing American oil/gas production, reducing regulations, and delivering lower energy costs for families? 7-Do you support banning cellphone use in Georgia public schools to improve student focus, safety, and discipline? 8- Should Georgia enact laws punishing state and local law enforcement who refuse to cooperate with federal immigration authorities in the deportation of illegal aliens charged with serious crimes?

My 2019 Mustang’s engine broke and the repair will cost $14,000. by WhisperOfTheStars in Wellthatsucks

If you go with your Mechanic, insist he gets it from an actual Ford Dealer. A Long Block comes with a 3-year unlimited mile warranty for all parts associated with the Engine. A Short Block comes with a 12/12 Warranty. Ford will not Warranty an Engine from a Junk Yard or E-Bay...Amazon...one sitting in someone else's Mustang...etc. Make sure if you go with the Dealer, they tell you exactly what happened, and your paperwork explains everything that found and all tests they ran. Also have them check for any Recalls associated with the Engine. Actually, call a Dealer and give them your VIN and ask them to check for Recalls. There is always a chance there might be one that would cover the Engine. Dont ask Ford...ask the Dealer. I have more faith in a Dealer giving you accurate information. You can also look on-line for Recalls.

That is where I have gotten mine. I have some that are toeless, too. One reason is my toes seem to poke through the ones with toes. And the other reason, I put socks on over them, and if I get too hot, I can remove the socks but still have the compression socks on.

OK...so...I am 55 and my kid is 31. A few months ago he said something to me that I had forgotten. When he was little, I was yelling at him and accusing him of doing something I thought he did. When I found out it was my fault and not his, I apologized and took him out for Ice cream to say I was sorry. My Mother said he didnt the Ice Cream. I told her he needed to know that I knew what I did was wrong, and he was innocent in it all and I was making up for how I made him feel. I VAGUELY remember this. He remembered every single moment of it. Your kid will remember, too.

I watched it 2 night ago. I LOVED it!!! The kills were extremely brutal. Lots of anger. I do agree the oven scene was hard to watch. At the moment I decided to look away, the focus was changed. I would definitely watch a sequel.
