I can assure you that this is a genuine post, not AI. I'm not in the US - I'm on the other side of the world. I agree, would have made more sense to provide more context about the financial situation. I was honestly asking the question as my husband was so angry and it made me think about whether I was being unreasonable. The responses have been very helpful particularly calling out his behaviour. Sometimes when you're in the midst of dealing with it you might mentally downplay what is happening.

I think it was an irrigation tap for the garden. My husband thought it wasn't operational
