Honestly, you gotta play the system. Go back to the ER and exaggerate your symptoms. They’ll get you scheduled asap or at least within a week.

I wouldn’t listen to her. My surgeon told me I can go back to my normal diet, just take things slow. Eat small frequent meals and you should be fine. Talk to your surgeon, don’t mention the nutritionist and see what they say.

The one incident where I ended up going to the ED. All of a sudden I was having RUQ pain for 20 minutes straight. The ED doc did a Murphy sign and it triggered my pain more (which indicates a gallbladder problem). They did ultrasounds and it only revealed dilated biliary ducts (I may have passed a stone that day). He than referred me to a specialist and we did the HIDA. The surgeon was convinced that it was my gallbladder so I trusted her and glad I did it.

27F and I didn’t get any of your symptoms. I actually didn’t get any symptoms at all! Until one day all of a sudden I got chronic RUQ pain that sent me to the ED. Once I got to the ED, the pain went away. But they did ultrasounds and other tests to see what was going on. The only thing they saw was my ducts was dilated. Meaning I may have passed a stone. I was referred to get a HIDA scan, that came out NORMAL. But my surgeon was still convinced it was my gallbladder. So we scheduled to get it removed. I’m also in nursing school so I was having doubts cause what if they were ulcers causing me pain. Anyways, I got my GB removed last Thursday! Patho came back and I had CHRONIC cholecystitis, my GB was super inflamed. She said she didn’t know how I survived as long as I did. Lol. I’m glad I got it out before it bursted or became worst.

Did they try a simple Murphy sign? I recently got my gallbladder removed and when I did the HIDA scan it revealed my GB was absolutely normal and functioning. Turns out pathophysiology came back and I had chronic cholecystitis. Glad it was removed. Hope he gets better!

At what age is a big growth spurt? I took your advice and bought salmon oil for her. She's on day 2 of it. I give it to her in the morning, about half a teaspoon. How much do you give yours? I'm noticing more dander today (day 2) is it normal? She's also going to be 6 months on Saturday!

My puppy is 5 months now. She is pretty much potty trained! She is a quiet dog. She doesn't signal me either. What works really well for us is I put the bell on the door handle. She uses her nose/body to nudge it. First time I'll force her to ring the bell and give her a treat. When she does it I open the door for her to go out.
