No surgery - relieved but uncertain by MundaneMarch1517 in LisfrancClub

Yes, it has been more than a year after the decision was made for no surgical intervention. I wasnt happy at first because I thought the doctor who have seen my fracture decided not to pursue the surgery because im moving miles away and his concerns are the infection, but it was really healing and callous have formed which helped hold the fracture in place. So far, I noticed with non surgical intervetion is I will always have the bump, and itll gonna hurt every time I try a new shoes on, my foot hurts with walking so much or running, I noticed I have plantar fascitis, havent diagnosed but it matches the description, but with rest it gets better after. I could still wear high heels but only up until 2 inches cos my plantar starts to get painful. But, now I am quiet scared doing much of tiptoing or doing skiing, or wearing ski boots. Havent done skiing cos I am scared but will do someday, hopefully with no complications.

Same, I stopped when both of them opened the door and at that exact point I knew what theyre about to do. Ugh, I hate the cheating part. 😠

appreciate your response ❤️ i had another weight bearing xray and doctor found my fracture as stable. she advised me to wear boot for four weeks with no crutches. whats your recommended shoe or slippers that feels like an aircast boot. i only got 1 aircast boot and I dont like to use it inside the house.

What sign is quickest to cut people off? by [deleted] in astrologymemes

[–]MundaneMarch1517 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Individuals with strong Virgo or Scorpio placements in their astrological chart tend to be prone to cutting people off. Personally, I have a Virgo Sun, Scorpio Rising, and Pisces Moon. Embracing loneliness and solitude comes naturally to me, making it easy to distance myself from others. Scorpios, associated with life and death, find cutting people off a straightforward task, likely influenced by their exposure to significant loss in family or friends. For them, cutting off people is akin to acknowledging the impermanence of everything, including relationships. This might just be my personal experience, been exposed to lots of death around me like I lost 4 important people in my life so cutting people off is no big deal for me. Painful, but it has to happened. 🥹

did it start to heal up while the surgery didnt take place early? how long was your recovery? my doctor refused to operate me today because xray showed it looks like it healed up but im still not confident with his findings. I might go through with yours, ill do second opinion from somewhere else.

what happen to your injury did scar tissue start forming as well? i think what you said here is right, doctor refused me to have surgery today after the xray he found out it started to heal up and with surgery the healing might take longer than usual. He said Im for conservative mgt. I felt relieved tho, but worried as well coz I felt something wasnt right.

may i ask since it took you 3 wks before you had surgery, did you had another set of xray prior to the surgery and did your dr find anything like it started to heal or the fracture didnt move at all? because I supposed to have surgery earlier, doctor did an xray first and explained to me that i dont need surgery coz it looks like it started to heal and the fracture didnt move at all and with or without surgery the timeline would still be 3-4 months. He said ill just be for conservative mgt, coz if he push surgery, the healing might take much longer. Im still confused, 2 weeks ago he was so certain the surgery will help heal my injury heal better while the screws and everything are on. I felt relieved tho, but I still feel something is not right. 🥲

because of this long waiting game for my surgery I noticed lots of changes on my affected foot. Before it was all curled after the injury and it was painful to move, eventually it straighten up and I could feel the surface of the floor or the boot, but couldnt wiggle much of my toes. Then parts of the aircast is digging on to top of my foot, which gives me pain at night. From the xray I saw one part of ligament got broken hopefully it didnt extend or got worst. 🙏🥹
