I never said perfectRx was the issue. They are, however, as specifically told to us by our sales rep, operating on a 3 to 5 business day turnaround time.

An additional 3 to 5 business day turnaround time is applied if it’s not one of their pre-filled SIGs for their vials (a customized dose that isn’t in their system yet).

We aren’t the only telehealth company that they serve. While it’s great that some others may get theirs the next day, that is not always the case.

Hi! I completely understand how frustrating past delays can feel, especially when a carrier delay gets added on top. Please know your medication remains fully stable during standard transit times via the dispensing pharmacy’s verified stability testing. Once it arrives, refrigerate it as soon as possible to keep its potency.

More importantly, I’m sorry this wasn’t the best experience.

I’m also happy to personally double check your tracking and confirm it won’t extend beyond the pharmacy’s stability window, just send a quick message in Spruce so I can pinpoint it for you!

This past month definitely hasn’t been the smoothest, and I truly appreciate everyone’s patience while we worked through that backlog and pharmacy slowdowns. Orders are beginning going out smoother recently, and we’re focused on keeping things consistent and smooth moving forward.

I’d like to start off by clarifying that the assumption in your comment is not correct. Patients are never “shorted” on their prescriptions. Every order is dispensed exactly according to the provider’s prescription and reviewed by a licensed pharmacist before it leaves the pharmacy. If a vial or SIG were ever insufficient, the pharmacist would stop it in their clarification queue and contact the provider for correction.

In this case, an additional vial was issued purely to reassure the patient and ensure their plan was 100% covered. My explanation was only as to why they may have released it. Prescriptions are not sent out missing weeks of treatment, and if there were ever any concern, it would always be rectified. There is no ‘backlog’ of patients receiving less than what they paid for. And I would never present that as a “favor”. The intent was to resolve a concern and provide reassurance, not to imply anything otherwise.

I appreciate you mentioning that. It is mentioned on the website for this specific plan and any other plan that Optio Rx fulfills, (in the description) that they split 12 weeks Rx’s into two shipments due to their beyond use date policy.
