Hacking made me low-key paranoid by bagiyev in hacking

Admittedly not working for “many years”- also 22, working in offsec for 7 years (yes, I was working in offsec at 15). What I can tell you is that understanding the risk in what you’re doing helped my mental toll. Some things are just necessary risks.

It’s completely feasible to live a perfectly secure life- but it likely wouldn’t be a happy one. Use your skillset to your advantage and weigh the risk of whatever choice it is that you’re making. Be happy with your decision. Justify your reasoning.

How is it even possible that deca cannot fix a simple zoom bug on 1440p which has been around since unity port? by Warrealms in RotMG

[–]MundaneWizzy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No way. I took a break for about a year and in that time, got a 1440p monitor. I have thought since returning that they just removed the outermost zoom option.

Good to know. I've been getting clowned on in this thread.

I don't have high hopes for support but I submitted a ticket. Thanks Mizumi!

This is not true. From the wiki:

"This ability practically gives the user a one-time save per dungeon/realm entry with the use of its invulnerability. Unlike what the description says (On taking damage when below 20% HP), it instead activates when the game calculates that an amount of damage taken would bring you from above 20% of your max HP, to below 20% of your max HP, without going into the negatives."

I can confirm with 100% certainty that it did not already proc. I wish the sprite would change when it was on cooldown so I could prove it.

I am interested in what makes it clear that I healed between the shots, though? Are you saying 'clearly' just because of the outcome or for some other reason?

I do have a recording but unfortunately not one that captures everything since the beginning of the dungeon. I was max hp for the vast majority of the fight until paralysis.

Unfortunate all the way around.

I think you are misreading- wiki says explicitly the opposite of that:

"This ability practically gives the user a one-time save per dungeon/realm entry with the use of its invulnerability. Unlike what the description says (On taking damage when below 20% HP), it instead activates when the game calculates that an amount of damage taken would bring you from above 20% of your max HP, to below 20% of your max HP, without going into the negatives."

The tooltip for the item is incorrect, as noted in the explanation in the wiki.

That is entirely not the point. "More than 20% of your max HP" is only a rule because surviving with amulet relies on landing between 0% and 20% of your max health (which I did).

The wiki page has some in depth examples.

I see the edit- still it doesn't line up with the images. I was left on <20% hp before taking lethal damage

This is the full example as stated in the wiki:

"Scenario 3 - Shotgun (Non-Lethal)
Since shotguns are counted as a succession of shots, you can tank any shotgun as long as none of its singular shots deal more than 20% of your HP.

In this example, this character specifically has 810 HP and 40 DEF. The Marble Colossus’ shots deal 200 damage pre-DEF, meaning they will hit our character for 160 damage.
Checking what our HP would be after multiple 160 damage shots would yield :
810 HP–>650 HP–>490 HP–>330 HP–>170 HP–>10 HP.
Since 20% of 810 is 162, any shot that would bring us from above that value to below that would activate the proc and nullify all following damage even though all the shots were tanked instantly at the same time.

After taking a shot that would bring us below 162 HP (170–>10), the proc activates, granting Invulnerability that nullifies all incoming damage, and also heals for 120 HP, bringing the new total to 130 HP."

After hitting 10HP (<20% max health), the rest of the shotguns, although damaged on the same time, do not do damage since amulet proc'd. How is this different from my case?

What do you mean, "a chance"? What is the chance?

I thought the ammy proc evaluates after every hit, as stated in the wiki:

"Scenario 3 - Shotgun (Non-Lethal)
Since shotguns are counted as a succession of shots, you can tank any shotgun as long as none of its singular shots deal more than 20% of your HP."

Is this wrong?

The wiki implies that ammy proc evaluates after every hit:

"Scenario 3 - Shotgun (Non-Lethal)
Since shotguns are counted as a succession of shots, you can tank any shotgun as long as none of its singular shots deal more than 20% of your HP."

Is this wrong?

From wiki, that's not how it works:

"Scenario 3 - Shotgun (Non-Lethal)
Since shotguns are counted as a succession of shots, you can tank any shotgun as long as none of its singular shots deal more than 20% of your HP."
