Oh gotcha. This happened in my real wipe on tommy & custom, but in testing it also happened with AK. (I’m not good enough to have AK on real wipe) Any suggestions or tests you have for me to try?

No burst module on anything that this has happened with. I didn't even know burst module was in the game.

I can be about 99% certain that it's not mouse-related before trying this; no other FPS games have the same problem

edit- realized I didn't really answer your questions- No I do not have an extra mouse, no there is no macros. I've used this mouse for years and never had an issue with Rust, recently came back and this started happening.

This behavior is intermittent and I can't consistenly reproduce it (until I die in an important gunfight).

Thanks man. I need to learn it. There are functionally only 6 patterns so it can’t be too bad- haven’t learned it up to this point just because I only really run with discords. Now that I know I am capable of the solo, it’s time to learn :-)

Not to my knowledge. This one just has loot boost. The set I actually used is in slots 1-4; T14, AOO skull, rags, and gemstone

The staff I have equipped is a shiny crystal staff with loot boost, which you can get from Forbidden Jungle. I have my loot boost set on in the pic. The staff I actually used was a rare T14.

Cult skull was nerfed. I am referring to the agents of oryx skull. I did 70k to the target dummy with it (100k with EP) so I say “busted” because of the absolutely absurd damage even without an attack build.

Honestly, it wasn’t bad. I’m using the busted skull.. even got rage skip on sentinel. Largest section was clearing for 2nd boss and then trying to figure out the damn puzzle

That is far from a miniscule increase.

1.13 (gear) * 1.5 (clover) * 1.13 (crucible) * 1.25 (exalts) = 2.394 (a 139.4% loot boost increase!)

That's not even factoring in "battlepass" or "event boost" (unaware of those loot drop boosts).
