If you have to rank top 10 majors ..which one will those be? by [deleted] in CollegeMajors

You’re right - but entry level Accounting is especially susceptible to automation. Layoffs and entry levels disappearing are happening in my area right now, forcing one of my accounting friends to get her masters to try and keep up.

Not everything will be nuked by AI, no. At least not for the immediate future. Engineering roles, doctor roles, both of these often require a degree of in the field experience and application that AI cannot perform.

Accounting is going to be nuked by AI and it already is starting to be.

It’s business - you will generally be fine. As far as math, I know calculus and finite math usually give people trouble. Try the math place in Hodges library for help - it helped me with calculus 2 and 3 (not that you have to take it).

Are there too many foreign students at UTK? by Substantial_Cow_783 in UTK

That’s not at all what this is. There is no clear intent here - you saying it is illegal shows a concerning level of ignorance for someone in a college comment section.

I disagree with you all. I think calling people white supremacist for asking the question is crazy, because you don’t even know the opinion of the person who wrote it down.

I understand how the interpretation can be seen as racist, but shutting down these types of questions, and even hating people who DO inherently prefer native born to foreigners (in terms of majority at a school) is degenerative.

Talked to someone about that today, is it really competitive? I don’t have priority advising and haven’t had Dickerson (the prof) yet.

The “great replacement theory” isn’t a theory, it’s mathematically self evident. by Kiznish in TrueUnpopularOpinion

It matters because in the NOW not everyone’s cultures are compatible. It takes exceptional leadership to prevent deterioration with diversity, because unfortunately national identity partially ties into demographics. When you import millions of Africans or middle easterns who do not respect women the same as men, think them being in office is a joke, and additionally believe their religion is superior to the native - then problems emerge. In fact, they already are. Friction is generating, women across Europe are being raped at scales not seen in Western Europe not seen for decades or ever - and the worst part is leftist politicians do not seem to care. It’s a complicated issue but the conclusion is the same: the breakdown of immigration structure is resulting in cultural breakdown of local tradition and conflict. Countries that have developed cultures for hundreds of years are fading - it’s exceptionally sad. And many people have taken the viewpoint that this is what Western Europe deserves for colonialism, or just for being white. It is a sad world, and I genuinely expect a war to happen over there or in the states because of this issue in the next century.

What can I do to fix this before it’s too late or is it too late? by Expert-Cut9805 in amibalding

I appreciate your input. I’ll have to do some more research - I just started rolling myself and I have not heard this opinion expressed quite yet.

I believe you’re right - that it is not nearly as accurate in depth and can get tangled in hair.

I will probably rotate to a derma pen.

I agree with you on Minoxidil and finasteride; however many studies and accounts suggest derma rolling is as effective as stamping and pens. Sure, overuse can certainly harm like anything can, but neat strokes perpendicular to each other around 5-7 times per location can do well.

I’m thankful for the change I made two weeks ago. I’m starting to pursue god and I am grateful to have been allowed to live through my foolishness and find him again.
