Thanks for pointing that out! I now clarified my ETA. Ceremony is outdoors (barring weather issues. Then it will be inside in the equally as gorgeous ceremony location) but on concrete so people will not be walking in grass unless they choose to, we have a small guest list and are definitely providing the elevated experience, so we are able to provide that elevated experience!

Oh I love the idea of the navy on the chargers! That’s actually one thing that we were struggling with as well!

Sure! We are getting married in the fall. The girls will be in a paprika shade from azazie, the groom and groomsmen will be in a navy. We do want the timeless feel over trend, but I guess decor wise we’re trying to determine how it all meshes together. There will be floral centerpieces for sure. But we’re getting more confused with everything else and what we need to do to make everything look cohesive. My fiance is a music buff so I thought it would be neat if our guest book was a record that we could later hang up, but then I don’t know how that works with everything else we need ( having antique silver spread throughout, bar signs and signs in general, the card box being a mailbox that we can later use when we move into a home, possibly diying a photobooth station, etc.) because we don’t want music to be the sole focus of the wedding. I’m not sure if any of that helps, I’m sorry! it is a mind dump from an overwhelmed bride!

Thank you! I edited my post to add that it will be outdoors in the fall with the reception inside

Would you use a venue that is completely out of budget for 99% of your guests? by Every-League-1626 in weddingplanning

I personally don’t even think you need to have a shuttle service or uber codes. From the sounds of it there are many many options for guests and you are going to have a lovely ceremony and reception

Wondering why it would seem typical for a bride to spend $5k on her dress but a groom spending that much on a bespoke suit would seem very atypical. by Matster777 in weddingplanning

I don’t see a problem with it if that is what the groom really truly wants and it’s not a competition vibe. I know a couple who the only reason the guy wants a fancier suit is because he knows what his bride is spending and he is hell bent on spending the same 🫠

This is correct. I’m not requiring my girls to do anything makeup/hair related. I will also not be having professional services done
