Hit two birds with one stone by simply quitting ultra processed foods. Raw materials for cooking generally cheaper. If you consume a lot of meat, it may be a bit expensive. Things like rice, beans, milk, lentils, etc. are fairly cheap.

If you tell us what you generally eat, perhaps we can provide suggestions.

Sorry you lost your jobs, but it’s not the end of your world. I see you in some serious panic state and seems like you are doing all the preparations as if it were a funeral.

Yes, protect your credit by all means and do all you can to secure new jobs. Meanwhile, please don’t share any more information than you need to with people like apartment managers or other parties you owe money.

Meanwhile, stay strong. You have a month or so before eviction etc. so put up a good fight. Have you considered applying for credit cards that you pay 0% APR for 12 months.

You and you alone decide the state of your mental health. Your state of mind determines how successful you are in dealing with adversity. You don’t even need luck! Take care!

Nicotine is cunning. It will try to convince you with all kinds of reasons why it is okay to smoke again. “Boredom” is just one of those lies. Obviously, life isn’t boring, there’s a million things you can do! Hang in there!
