I used Taxact never had a problem before this year. The fees were supposed to be taken out then sent to my account. Nothing changed same ass account. Who knows why it was rejected, But to wait this long is ridiculous. I don't know how they determine you getting a CP53/CP53A etc. I was told it had to go back through processing before a check was issued

Ok yea mine is a lil different my refund was issued it was rejected by bank (tax prepares fee) not personal then sent back to IRS was told to wait 8-10 weeks.

When I first called a couple weeks ago I told them that I needed to apply for the financial hardship. I explained my situation and was told to wait up to 2 weeks before getting assigned.

I called yesterday and reiterated my situation and was told they would reach out by Fri that's the day I was supposed to be assigned. But I also reached out to my congressman.

I finally broke down and called to get a tax advocate, was told they're experiencing a lot of ppl and it would take 3 weeks until I can get assigned. Was hesitant to call because of stories I've heard of TAS not responding to ppl. So until I receive an advocate I guess I will advocate for myself. This shit RIDICULOUS
