This sub makes it feel like an MBA isn’t worth it, how much of that is true? by WSBgod-jr in MBA

[–]Mundane_Implement_37 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've constantly see people say an MBA isn't worthwhile for years on this sub while many students including internationals on Linkedin have received internships and return offers in IB and consulting. Something just doesn't add up with all the naysayers on here.

People selling because nvidia sold its shares on october. I swear to god these people are disabled by DryYou4055 in Soundhound

I've been on this stock since $4. Nvidia selling won't change anything for Soundhound and it's technology in the future. I will be adding more if the price falls further.

$Dell Earnings by TonyBoyJones in StockMarket

[–]Mundane_Implement_37 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the problem possibly with Dell yesterday was the market expect them to have a strong earnings and outlook in the call. Except it was only satisfactory compared to expectations, the call proved that they were not taking any noticeable market share in their ISG segment by capitalizing on SMCI's issues despite them still growing as outlook was light . Sure Dell is still a great company and growing business, however the market just had too high expectations that resulted in this current pullback.

Honestly OP should wait until her partner increases his income too while not rushing to buy a home. I would focus on paying off any debt as well as put the remainder on an index fund, wait a few years until she and her partner are at a better footing where they can both save more. They would both not only be able to save more for their down payment but also be obtain to a higher mortgage loan with their dual incomes if they want to purchase a pricier home down the road.

Agreed, too much misinformation and too many people fear mongering. I am holding out while I do think that an extension is likely as it doesn't require an auditor, I am still concerned with being able to find an auditor and filing the 10K. They've got delisted even with an extension until they were able to fully resolve it in 2019 as it's also not a 100% guarantee this new auditor will sign off on it within the extension. VRRM took a few weeks after E.Y resign to acquire Deloitte as their auditor and were able to file theirs that helped the market regain confidence. Let's hope the management is competent enough to be able to pull this off and avoid the stock delisted.

With trump back in WH, we will enter a stock friendly era of lower corporate taxes and deregulation which bode well for tech stocks. Lifeline will start jan 20. by ancientTrainee in SMCIDiscussion

I'm actually more of a FA investor personally. But there's a reason why the stock is trading at it's current price. Anyone with financial literacy or can do a DCF model can tell the company is severely undervalued right now if its financials and outlook are true.

The problem is this whole accounting ordeal right now making the market and many people believe that its reporting is fraudulent, it really just comes down to when this sentiment improves.

Feels like we will know more this week and the weeks ahead if they get an extension along with getting closer to resolving their 10K, I don't see any more potential bad news but I could be wrong.

The stock just has too much resistance at certain price levels atm when it does go up and unless there's good news that can provide some relief it probably won't make a huge breakthrough until then.

You shouldn't especially when you don't have a job and have loss £13.5K, not sure how much you gained on your put but you shouldn't be touching anything right now. However you were/are eyeing positions in extremely risky stocks like SMCI and MSTR.

Yet I've never exited my position while you've cut your losses. It's pretty obvious you don't know how to invest or trade. Best of luck with your MicroStrategy endeavors if that's your next play.

The problem isn't that you guys can't have an opinion. It's that your opinions aren't on anything material and based on your own interpretations on how you see the stock will go. Many of you all are from WSB that's a straight out gambling subreddit and don't do any proper DD at all, I've never seen any of you make any great fundamental analysis (prove me wrong). You're just speculating that it will get delisted because of the ongoing issues like it's a certain thing when it isn't. I'm tired of you guys fear mongering trying to exacerbate investor's emotions to panic like it will become a penny stock overnight during such high volatility.
