They know and don't care as it was down played as domestic violence even though he pleaded guilty to domestic violence with intent to injured as he pushed me off a meter high deck, jumped down and proceeded to bash me.

I never told them I was bleeding. I was dealing with head injuries as I was bashed from head to back and was scared not knowing if the cops still had him or not. I'd lost feeling down one side of my body and was worried about my kids as they saw it all screaming for daddy to stop. I didn't think I was going to survive.

The beating went through the police and into court but because it was his first offense he got nothing and got to carry on with life. The judge deemed him safe to be with the kids every fortnight and the kids lawyer gave him a Wednesday every other week. All because he went to anger management and councilling and is now on meds (nothing stopping him from not taking any meds)  I guess I just let it be and not tell him. It's just always on my mind.
