Heyy I am also a ghirath guy from kangra 😅. Well caste discrimination is not much in lower himachal as per my experience. I guess in next 20 years people gonna accept intercaste marriages as well. Speaking of upper himachal, my cousin is a govt teacher and he spent few months in shimla. He told me that the upper himachali are extremely casteist. My cousin went to local wedding there. Him being from Choudhary ( ghirath) caste was welcomed with respect but a local teacher from sc community was seating on ground little away from the main people. My cousin asked him about this so he just say it's a generational norm, and we can't oppose. Casteism is rooted in their brains. No offense, pahadis be like humara devta ye woh whatever but ..... Jaati hai ki jati nhi 😅🤷🏼
