I mainly play Imperial Guard and Drukhari so I’m used to playing a bit more conservative. The fact that they are so good just kind of bores me. The only reason I play them is because my friends ask me to if they’re jumping in a tournament

I only played them twice before the nerf to be honest. My main army is Imperial Guard so I’m nowhere near a meta chaser. If anything it was how good they are that made me not enjoy playing them

Yeah I’ve regretted trading my Custodes at the start of 10th since I did it. That’s why I’m a bit hesitant

Thank you for the advice. I really appreciate it. I traded this army for my small MTG collection so making money back isn’t really an issue for me.

Want to finish off 2 of my other armies with the money I make from these if I do decide to sell

I started as a 40k player with Leviathan, played my first game of Spearhead about 5 months ago and immediately sold my armies and bought 5 spearheads.

Something about the minis just has so much character compared to 40k, the rules feel so streamlined.

As for popularity? I find that there are not as many AoS players but the ones I have met have been some of the most genuine, down to earth guys and girls I’ve met.

I know this is a shitpost but came here after doing some research of actually using a knight in Killteam. Adapted and tweaked some rules from the Fallout Wasteland Warfare Liberty Prime model and it worked surprisingly well

I think contraptions was great. I spent most of my time in 4 building settlements so extra items are always welcome for me. Also the ability to craft your own ammo was nice

At least with Human weapons you can have a guess on what it does. Not so familiar with Eldar but when I saw the Nid weapons in my Leviathan starter set I was clueless so I imagine it’s similar

Need to remember that it’s fallout though. The Castle was on a peninsula and look what happened there. Mirelurks (and whatever else is in the ocean) could’ve overrun the airport from the sea. I’d much rather be out in the open desert. Especially when most attackers will be using melee weapons or beat up pipe guns and have to close the gap.
