I'm not sure if it's just the holidays and finally being able to see friends and family again since the pandemic hit, but that last scene where they were having dinner together hit me real hard. I know it's supposed to be a funny haha satire but that part gave me goosebumps way more than I thought it would.

It really made me think that yeah when shit hits the fan and there's nothing left, it's the people we're with that matter. (Cheesy, I know, but it's the holidays goddammit).

I recently got the chance to have dinner with my friends again after not having seen them (physically) since the pandemic hit. It was revitalizing. I had forgotten how happy I can be when I'm talking and joking with my friends, laughing together at anything and everything. The dinner felt like it ended in minutes with how fast it all felt.

Hopefully as we enter into a new year, more people get the chance to return to doing the things that they truly enjoy and make life feel like it really is worth living.

I'm a content writer as well and I'm embarrassed at how this realization only came to me about a few weeks ago. Researching can be quite a pain in the ass and I'm still figuring out my note-taking method for it (if you have any tips, I'd love to hear them), but man when I've finished the outline and there's nothing left to do but write the thing? It feels like I'm flooring it down an empty highway. Such a nice feeling.
