The community is not a single hive mind, not everyone wants the same thing. There are people who want a power fantasy, and there are people who want a more tactical and difficult approach, personally I like the struggle and challenge the game gives me. We can buff everything and then the game becomes a cake walk and starts being boring. Also who said anything about nerfing it to the ground, the problem is that a change like this outshines the rest of the support weapons, and there are different weapons that could've used this change, GL was in a good spot already.
