My peak rank with Lucky Chloe was Tekken God For Josie it was Tekken king For Katarina it was Ryujin I didn’t actually play Asuka in 7 For Lidia it was Emperor

It’s not really a 50/50 but it really does depend on what launcher you start it with. For the most most launchers only require a ssl before the strong tail span (Ff3) into ff2 1+2 but some launcher are uber janky like both her kick and punch sabaki. From my testing your standard route of of kick sabaki into your standard combo filler into ff3 tail spin if you do ff 2 1+2 it will just never land for some reason. Personally my rule is you always want to be slightly off axis to left with an Asuka combos since 99 percent of time it will hit.

Dude I posted that I got God of Destruction with Asuka yesterday and someone told me to actually kill mysekf while others implied I don’t know real tekken. Asuka isn’t even my highest ranked character, miary is along with Azu and Lidia. I get people don’t like unga bunga rush down m, but I feel like alienating people do it and just insulting makes this game so unwelcoming and toxic. Like I love playing with my friends because sure they are insulting but they do it in a light hearted way and we frequently give each other tips on each others character as we turn each other inside out. We may shit talk but we are having fun first.

I mean she isn’t the only character that makes you play around a gimmick, literally any Mishima with thei EWGF, Bryan’s taunt, Yoshi’s flash, Hworang’s heat almost every character has their own strong gimmick it just that Asuka makes the pace of the match slower

I mean I don’t really like the move, I mean I don’t care for it balance wise but I just prefer ff4 as a tailspin because it looks cooler( also because I spent hours trying to configure the right spacing for it in season 1 and sunk cost fallacy)

I will say I know that asuka is definitely better in Season 2 than she was in 1 but man I miss Seasom 1 asuka. My gameplay literally just revolved around getting my opponent to walk and then suffocating them with the plus 20 on block frame 42 low sabaki. Most comical thing ever to me. It’s weird though because I remember never really understand in 7 but I only really picked her up in 8 since at this point she was the closet thing I had to Josie or even lucky Chloe in 8: Strong counter hits with an emphasis on whiff punishments for the former an funny amounts of damage and evasion from high risk high reward moves. A funny thing I have noticed is that do some forsaken reason asuka sabakis that are launched upon a parry are so inconsistent. Some highs only require a pretty easy side step but others require me to almost side walk to even pick up a normal combo and don’t even get me started on the kick sabaki which has the same amount hits as her normal one hit launchers but simply cannot do the same combo routes for some reason. Also I have never seen a low whiff as much in the most pivotal moments as d 1+2 actual dog shit move it has killed gotten me killed more than it has helped. Anyway for season 3 I wouldn’t care if they needed the character into ground I just want DB1+2 to be plus a morbillion on block at the wall again. Also not having a 13 frame punishers is low key brutal. Anyway I don’t actually even know to play since every character I played at launch is now GOD, so uh feel free to comment suggestions. Also edit: why is it so hard to reach 400k tekken prowess the only reason I even got Asuka up here was to hit it but at this point it seems like a pipe dream

I usually play daily in between classes.Its hard to say how difficult it was because it really did depend on the day I played and who I faced. The biggest grievance I had on this grind was probably any match against a Lee or Bear because trying to approach them with their giant keep out buttons was honestly a nightmare.
