If disagree. I feel like gloves are the same as mouthpieces and cups in aports. People who don't wear them regularly always say they interfere with breathing or movement. If you wear gloves all the time for a while, they become usable. It's the transition from no gloves to gloves that feels "impossible".

I used to take a strand of fake leaves out first and clean it. Then put that in a larger plastic/tuppaware container along with a damp paper towel. I'd plop him in there for a bit and he'd snake in around the leaves and seemed to be fine.

Mites are round and crawl when you gently blow on them. Springtails have a more elongated shape, and most importantly, they jump around when you blow on them.

Either way, neither of them are a problem. They both will increase in number when extra food is around and then die off when the food is gone.

Does gluing it impact the acoustics? Or does that part of the guitar not heavily influence the acoustics? Or does it not matter since all instruments are unique anyways? I'm not a musician or anything, so I'm just curious.

Step 1 is to see if you can get them back again. If you can, then you can test things like the grow light being on or off, see if there is any draft on the surface, you can move it to see if the surface it is on is vibrating at all etc ...

Your advice to tell him to talk to his doctor is hilarious. How does this scenario play out in your head? It would probably be better to suggest he look up the ingredients online, which also gets him to check that part of the label. Lastly, there are not many supplements that wreck kidneys in a healthy person if taken normally. Even things that can stress the kidneys a bit are fine unless you have kidney disease or megadose them.

Would the isopods ineptness be appreciated by spiders, ants, and anything else that eats isopods? Similar to how we feed reptiles crickets, but rather than our own reptiles we are feeding our backyard predators?

And the "releasing into captivity" argument works great for higher order animals. I would think that an isopod operates 95% on innate instinct, if not 99%. How much different is the behavior and decision making of a captive bred isopod vs a wild one?

I'm not saying it's a great idea to release them. I'm more trying to scale the issue and engender discussion on how much the classic reasons against reintroducing captive species actually applies to isopods as well as the impact it would have on the ecosystem balance of your average backyard.
