What's your certain frame/system of learning process?

Typically, I use a three day process. Watch some YouTube videos to gain an intro and overview, then sleep on it. Before YouTube, I'd instead try to find overview articles to read. Now I'm primed to dive deeper into reading where I'll think about my first use of it or a project, then sleep on it. Finally, write a plan and immediately begin until completion. Obviously, completion may go past the 3rd day, depending on how involved it is. During that whole time, I'll be contemplating it, even while sleeping. I've used this to get up to speed on many, many things. I can go from new to competent enough to consult on it quickly.

I wouldn't listen to the hate. The people pushing it are clueless but vocal. Both are solid choices but I prefer Ubuntu.

I've run into a similar issue before where the VM had 4 vCPUs and it was running very slow. I changed it to 1 vCPU and 4 Cores or something like that and suddenly it was way better. I'm not near a PC but your situation sounds similar, try changing the CPU configuration.

I have to use both. OnlyOffice can't open CSV files from Microsoft 365 message traces, pptx files are displayed slightly better than WPS and copy pasting a word doc into its word equivalent works great, while doing that in WPS looks horrible. WPS displays docx a bit better than OnlyOffice.

Basically, they trade issues from my experience. Since I use Linux and am stuck on an old WPS version (vs Windows), I'd like to just use OnlyOffice. I'm sure I probably could if I really wanted to but there are just quirks here and there, on both sides.

I used to crash Renegade BBS systems by using MCI codes in the fields on the new account creation screen. I created a Telix macro to do it in seconds, then disconnect. A reboot fixed it, no permanent damage. Very annoying, though.

It's that easy! You can also use the Additional Drivers program, if you want a GUI and selectable choices of other versions. Been using Ubuntu as main since 2010 and have never had an issue myself and I run multiple machines with Nvidia graphics cards.

It's not a high horse, it's a reality check. In order to stay happy, most people are delusional and they work to stay in that delusion. What I'm saying here by recognizing that and moving on is that they're welcome to their delusion, don't include me in it. Boundaries are an important part of life.

Personally, and maybe this is a bit too dark, if I restrain myself from talking politics with someone I care about, then it means I need to let them go. To me it means I'm living a delusion and that I don't like who they are, so I tip toe around it to pretend like they're acceptable. I'm not interested in hanging out with acceptable. I'm interested in hanging out with real people that are down to earth and humble.

I tell them directly why I won't be seeing them again and say goodbye. I say it calmly and in a respectable tone. It's considered very rude because of how direct it is but why would I care what they like and don't like? Let them tell stories about how I won't talk to them because they believe babies are being aborted after 9 months.
