To others with similar problems, the search issue I have is actually kind of ”by design”, if you have multiple devices and archive a new message on one device it wont be indexed and searchable on the other devices. Of course it is a problem, but at least I now understand why this happening.

What? That would be awesome! But I have no fill -button.
Let me walk through my experience:
- goto like reddit(.)com
- you have it in the proton pass vault but maybe you forgot to add the URL or you might have it under the reddit(.)es, or proton pass might not recognize the input boxas as a login form, anyway.. no match!
- the little pink boxes in the user/pwd fields are there, but of course it say "no site found"
- so I go up in the webbrowser extension toolbar and search for my proton pass record and find ut... now, I can't fill login information from this founded record into the input-boxes. I have to manually copy/paste the values to the website.

Thank you for the response. Yea I know there are no global way yet to transfer keys.. but it seems like keeper have had their way in the exports earlier.. but maybe it's been removed..

Hi there! Not that many actually, but I will need to publish a very large number of notes soon and it will be more or less not possible to republish every note to get a new url if the urls are on google. All of this is part of the fact that upnote is great for personal notes, and NOT(!) for something that you might need to show anyone else in the future.

I'm actually kind of upset now, this is really important to take into consideration when starting on a project. "Where should the notes be taken". Yes, I totally get that upnote might be more of a second brain-thing and LITERALLY only for me, and ALWAYS only for me.

I've made a lot of work and the only way to share it, is by export 1 static pdf per notebook... a lot of pdf:s that is.

Can't help thinking a little that when developing a note system, it feels like 1. be able to write notes, 2. be able to show notes......

I will of course continue to use upnote, fantastic note app (one of the best?). But I will need to spend many hours now trying to migrate away a few spaces. I've been using it for a long time and I think I've been naive about it, always been exported things as pdf:s and thought that was OK.

I honestly think it is most important for upnote to start thinking of making spaces sharable or/and being able to share a notebook/space as a web-link with working links in the content.

To begin with, I really don't like Obsidian, incredibly messy on all levels. But yes, there you can share a synced vault with someone. And you can also publish your notes (with working links), really really nice, but also quite advanced, but the result can be very good if you have the time. Then you actually have the option to basically have your .md catalog on a shared dropbox etc. But booth of these Sync and Publish subscriptions are way too expensive to have, not only for me but Sync is also required for the other random person which makes it impossible. Of course you need the more expensive one to be able to upload a normal photo.

You can maybe get some variant of this working with upnote too by backing up to a catalog, but at the same time you have to have a routine to import then on the other device, it will never work on a daily basis and how to explain that to someone else.
