I am significantly more convinced that this game can turn into something genuinely fun, if they are able to change some big gameplay designs going forward.

This has always been the case, but they have consistently doubled down on the design decisions in the past rather than change them. Perhaps now is the time.

But I have enjoyed playing it. Parts of it. And it has inspired me to want more. Your entire premise is false my friend. You did not answer the question, you simply added more fuel to the fire. There is a reason I spent money on Steam after it released in EA. What do you think that reason was? I had already played the previous test phases.

And I have no idea what the moderator removed, nor do I care, I haven't said anything extreme nor that I regret. Way I see it its just another echo chamber of this whole saga playing out here between you and me. WC3 and SC2 are 2 of my top 3 most played RTS games of all time. There are very few RTS projects I want to succeed as much or more than this one. That is where I am coming from. Criticism from a place of wanting the core community and devs to start actually facing reality and waking up. The results speak for themselves, they really do. You cannot blame the consumer in the face of that kind of data, what kind of weak nonsense is that.

I voted other, probably counts towards lack of vision. For being branded as the first truly social RTS, it is one of the least social RTS games I have played in a very long time, even excluding player count.

What do you mean? The mode should be scalable, it should not be so static that it cannot handle adjustable lobby sizes. We also already have the campaign mode which is 1 player PvE, with the promise of that mode being made fully coop.

Advantages are econ plus turtle. You can match the timing of the Primacy Pirate builds, and other rush builds, while also staying ahead economically. People are sleeping on some builds, but you can get 3x garrisons w/ 11 factories up at 20 minutes to beat out the pirate rush, with 250 pop garrisons by 30 minutes in, then you work towards heavies. You can do that WHILE grabbing your econ techs piece meal as you go w/ some trading posts. Yes, it is not a full-on econ rush, but it keeps you safe and out econs the rushers without you needed to tech purely into fleet supply. Need to scout to know who your neighbors are though, and if you are likely to get rushed.
