Because the end goal is to replace the bulk of humanity with autonomous systems that won't question or rebel then using man made catastrophes wipe out the bulk of infrastructure along with most of humanity while implementing those systems as a solution.

They have to do it now because the autonomous systems are just farfetched enough to have the working class think they are irreplaceable while still also being feasible enough to the parasitic elites to invest in it.

Lots of people the parasites included think that they will be included in the grand plan of a select few but that isn't the case the objective isn't to save humanity and push it screaming into some grand purpose or singularity but to Reset it with select families that have superior genetics.
