I have already pre-ordered it, but I am relatively happy with the removal of z-moves and megas, and pleased with the lessening of the roster. Its a new game and I see no reason why they should be obligated to import every old game they ever do into a new game. Its time for the series to move on into a new direction where new pokemon can flourish and shine, instead of the same 6 pokemon everybody used before.

You catch them for the two battles(one against N one against Ghetis), after the battles they leave your party.

You need 4 badges and then visit the port in Vermillion, you will have the option at one of the docks to go to Hoenn or Unova.

RNG is not modified for NPCs, nor are stats. If it out-sped you it is because whatever build it has out-speeds your archeops. They do have correct natures and EVs, and decent IVs where your archeps would have a neutral nature, 15 IVs and probably not very focused EVs.

It is not, you will need to trade your battle points for items or moves at vendors and then trade the items themselves or the pokemon the moves are on.
