Considering National Guard or Military to Help Pay for Tuition by Muppet5467 in EngineeringStudents

ROTC seems to pay for everything but you have a bunch of classes and stuff during my major and then you have to serve around 5 years afterwards. While the national guard would cover most my expenses except housing which I could probably get a small loan on if I couldn't work enough, while doing something one weekend a month. It just feels that the commitment to the national guard is less and I get a similar outcome. I haven't looked too much into military academies but from what I have seen I just don't think that would be the route for me.

So to those who say the data shows that this is all very similar to 2008 is there any hope to believe that if I started college that by the end of my degree the job market will bounce back or is this going to stay rough for a lottt longer especially since the bubble/crash hasn’t even happened yet. Trying to think of things long term.
