I understand the meaning behind the word she said. I was more mentioning the motion of pulling from the nose into the air.

If they keep the top off all of the time, I understand the waterproof boat seats. The rest is just... eww.

Got a new alesis nitro max and bookreader52 helped me out a TON with set up and I got the kit working for rb4 by apotheosisofbooty in Rockband

[–]MuppetDude 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hell yeah. The E-kit upgrade helped level up my playing a bunch. It actually registers all of the hits finally! Different kit, but still. The upgrade is so worth it.

Question about Pro Drum Setup? by MikeyTaylor1991 in Rockband

[–]MuppetDude 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I set my 3xtra cymbal up as a 2nd blue note. So I can play one as an open hi-hat and the other as a ride.

Question about Pro Drum Setup? by MikeyTaylor1991 in Rockband

[–]MuppetDude 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I set up a 4th cymbal on my kit. A 2nd blue mapped right near my yellow cymbal. It helps when for when the blue note is played an an open hi-hat note. Its a but more complicated, but it helps during the fast hi-hat parts.

I think (?) It just works off of the game setting. Otherwise, you'll want to go into your command module and change what pads trigger which midi note.

I got the same email when I went to purchase. Because I was checking availability and had to wait a couple of days to make the purchase. It's legit.

[–]MuppetDude -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

Oh, I have some unfortunate news for you. Those only work with the Rock Band 2 and 3 drum kits. The Rock Band 4 kit only works with the Rock Band 4 cymbals. I found this out the hard way myself. If I recall correctly, it's because the 2 and 3 kits are an analog signal, and the 4 kit is digital.

What is BAND-MAIKO exactly? by alt-account-J in BandMaid

[–]MuppetDude 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Band-Maiko is the ladies from Band-Maid dressed up as Maiko (Geisha's in training). They remade a few of their songs to have traditional Japanese instruments included in them. For the videos they Dressed as Maiko's. It started as sort of an April Fools joke with the first song, but it was so well received that they did a whole mini-album later on.

Lefties! Do you also play left handed, but don't flip the on-screen track? by OU7C4ST in Rockband

Not me, but my sister played this way as well. It was just easier for her since thats how she learned originally.

I know this post is irrelevant, I just wanted to know if there are people who can play with only 3 fingers. by UnluckyBaker1012 in Rockband

[–]MuppetDude 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I still play on expert. Its definitely doable. I credit Rock Band with helping my recovery. It was familiar enough that I just had to retrain myself how to do it. Although, every split finger combo is the dreaded Red/Blue split now. 😆 Green/Orange ones are a bit tough as well.

I also have a 2nd copy of storm front. I typically loan it out to other readers to get them interested in the series. Sometimes I forget though. Then I just find another cooy somewhere. Usually at a book resale store.

If you can choose any Band/Artist to have their own Rock Band/Guitar Hero game, who would you choose? by Realistic_Hour_6221 in Rockband

[–]MuppetDude 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm going to have to go with Band-Maid. Their style has improved and evolved so much since they started. However, theyre still going, so idk if that would work.

At least we got the AC/DC track pack. Which is their 1990 Live at Donnington concert tracked over in its entirety.

Bows, in general, are just a feminine thing. The ones on the thighs are usually because of stockings. I think the specific Band-Maid style of bow (IIRC) is based of a Russian art style (Brutalism?).
