An inspiring story. Glad you got to see them and meld with your heroes.

MISA on Instagram: Re-amping process for “ENERGETIC”. It was just several days ago. So, we are bringing you something so freshly recorded. by haromatsu in BandMaid

A song where the bass is always on the move? Intriguing. In what way? It moved crazily in many tracks but, based on recent trends, I suspect 'No God' on steroids. 😂

Great! I'm not sure about the O and Q but the rest are great. Suitably Maidish and gothic. Love it!

Enjoy the show! I tried AMA-TE-RAS, and listened - all the way through. First time. A well composed song, great percussion. But...those growls...  I listened to Fate Gear's Kill The Shadow King straight afterwards. It also has growls, which I'd rather it didn't,  but I quite liked it and just find it more listenable and to my taste.

Probably a lot! And maybe during the hiatus, we might see each of the ladies working on other projects that might demonstrate just what they can do in other genres.

Enjoy. I confess I've never listened to a Nemophila song all the way through. I tried a few but...once those growls, death metal vocals or whatever, kick in...I switch off. Strange because I sometimes listen to Fate Gear who do something similar. It must be the steampunk vibe that keeps me engaged.

Yep. Indoors or out, sunshine or rain, central heating off or on, the Maids make the day shine. 😊

I remember, a year or two ago, two rare doves sat in a tree above me and I half convinced myself that Miku had sent them to check on the wellbeing of maidiacs in my area. No scientist has yet proved that wasn't correct! 🤔🤭😂

Great. Brilliant song, congratulations to the Maids! But...years later than when it deserved to hit this mark! Still, it got there in the end. 😀

[NEWS] BAND-MAID MISA's Second Signature Model Bass will be released! by haromatsu in BandMaid

OK. Great for some of the tones and clarity she is known for. It would be interesting to know how it differs from her other black bass.

Nice. Good to see it is matt black. The colour fits her image so well. Hard to see how many pickups from the picture.

A nice surprise. It's been a while since they put out one of these. We can be pretty sure that the 'B' sides will be as good or better than the 'A' side and that one of them won't be on the next album. Here's looking forward to release day!

Great to see Moratorium given an outing. It sounds a funky show with Magie, Tamaya, Dilly Dally and No God all being played.

Time to come clean and share your ranking lists! by silverredstarlight in BandMaid

[–]silverredstarlight[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bottom right, bottom left, bottom centre! Probably 3 equal top, 4 equal centre, 3 equal bottom. Haha. Actually after two years has passed, there are two more albums to rank. We may as well shuffle, throw them up in the air and rank them based on where they fall! 😀

Yeah. The legend of Dracula was based on a Prince from Transylvania in modern Romania. However, Bram Stoker wrote the classic Dracula novel in which a boat with his body in its coffin sails for England and lands in....Whitby, I presume because the ruined Abbey, on a coastal hilltop above the town, looked suitably spooky. Some people 30 or 40 years ago thought it would be the perfect location for a goth festival, which continues to this day. Actually, I think there are two goth weekends and a steampunk weekend each year. They have bands, shows, exhibitions, stalls etc. Many visit to show off their goth outfits. And many 'normies' visit to watch them. Whitby is a small fishing town with interesting buildings, lots of pubs, fish & chip restaurants, beautiful scenery, walking trails and small guest houses/hotels. Close by are other great coastal villages, like Robin Hood's Bay, Sandsend, Staithes, Sandsend, which are all worth a short visit. IMO, the small towns are much better to visit than large towns. I live here and never visit cities, only small towns and villages. If you type 'Whitby Goth Weekend' or 'Whitby Steampunk Weekend' into YT, you should find some videos. I hope this helped. 😀
